THE SPIRIT OF GOD MAY BE PRESENT EVERYWHERE BUT NOT NECESSARILY RESIDING IN EVERYTHING. Humans Are Individually Similar To Canisters That Have Been Placed In Water But Contain No Contents Within. Understanding this helps us realize that we have a need for God that transcends philosophical assumptions and requires an actual encounter whereby we being empty within have a void that cries out to filled with the presence of the Divine One’s Spirit.

We all live and move and have our being in the Spirit of God. But to say God’s spirit permeates everywhere is incorrect usage, because to permeate means to penetrate a thing, although, not necessarily to the point of saturation. Nevertheless, the expression would be God’s spirit permeates everything. However, this is untrue.

Likewise, the statement, “God’s Spirit is in all” is also untrue. But to say “God’s Spirit is present everywhere” is closer to the truth. Except, God’s Spirit does not abide in those possessed of evil or anything that is evil. Neither does the Spirit of God necessarily abide in the hearts of humans, even though humans live and have their being within Him. In fact, the Universe has been created within God Himself. The Universe being finite, and God being infinite, naturally surrounds the Universe.
  • And God said, “Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters.” And God made the firmament and separated the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament. And it was so. And God called the firmament Heaven. And there was evening and there was morning, a second day. (Genesis 1:5-8)
The Spirit of God moves throughout the Universe, keeping a watch over Creation, noting everything that occurs. God keeps account of all that happens, all that is expressed, discerning the difference between the thoughts and intentions of the hearts of humans.
God is omnipresent.
