CHRISTIANS DEMONSTRATE THAT THEY ARE NOT CHRISTIAN WHILE NON-CHRISTIANS SHOW A WILLINGNESS TO BEFRIEND PEOPLE IN WAYS THAT CHRISTIANS DO NOT. At Least This Is The Claim Of One Person, Who Does Not Differentiate Between The Different Types Of Christians There Are, So As To Distinguish Between The Genuine And The False. Unfortunately, many people think that everybody born in a country that is declared a Christian nation has to be a follower of Lord Jesus Christ when, in fact, rebirth—a second birth—is required.

There are many reasons why people, who are not Christians, may like you. The aphorism “birds of a feather flock together” tells us much about friendships and acquaintances.

Many people who become Christians are still trying to find their way into the Kingdom of God. Being a Christian is a claim also made by many people who are not really Christians.

My frame of reference is that those who do not do the will of God are not members of the family of Lord Jesus Christ.
  • And looking around on those who sat about him, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers! Whoever does the will of God is my brother, and sister, and mother.” (Mark 3:34-35)
  • Not every one who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. (Matthew 7:21)
Rather than wanting men to look your way, maybe if you focused on Lord Jesus Christ, to ensure that He is looking your way, then you will have need to worry about other men.
  • Looking to Jesus the pioneer and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. (Hebrews 12:2)
  • Cast all your anxieties on him, for he cares about you. (1 Peter 5:7)
My experience is that friendly people are easy to find. Although, not everybody in a church has the same interests and finds everybody’s company as enjoyable as certain other individual’s company.
  • For the kingdom of God is not food and drink but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit; he who thus serves Christ is acceptable to God and approved by men. (Romans 14:17-18)
Walking in righteousness, peace and the joy of the Holy Spirit has an amazing ability of causing people to be attracted to wanting to know oneself.

The Way Of God Is Superior To The Ways Of Men, But Only The Humble Know It
