Jesus said that those who seek shall find. One of the fascinating and intriguing facets about being human is our capacity to be inquisitive extends beyond the simple unintelligent curiosity of a mere monkey.

The prophet, Amos speaking about those who rejected the word of the Lord, had the following to say:

• They shall wander from sea to sea, and from north to east; they shall run to and fro, to seek the word of the Lord, but they shall not find it. (Amos 8:12)

The prophet Hosea explains why these atheistic types do not find the truth but, instead, wander around claiming that there is meaning in the magical mirror of delusion and how significance is found in a short-lived life and so on.

On the other hand, Jesus was emphatic, when he clearly stated that it is possible for the genuine of heart to find God and have access to the truth, as they experience a relationship with their Creator.

Essentially, we see there are three aspects to the inquisitiveness required by us  to demonstrate how eager we are to find out about a matter or make contact with someone.

1. We need to ask what it is that we want and establish the reason why this is so. 
2. We need to actively seek out how to discover what it is that we are seeking or who it is we are seeking to contact. 
3. Once we have discovered where what we want is found or who we are seeking can be contacted; we need to exert every effort to lay a hold of the goods or be knocking at the person’s door whom we are seeking to contact.
