Images Are Powerful Tools For Reinforcing Belief Systems And Directing People Away From The Truth. There is no reason for any image or picture of Jesus being on the cross to exist if this is to have a place in worship of the true God, for our Savior has risen from the dead and is seated at the right hand of God.

The graven image of Jesus of Nazareth on the Cross is a statement that Jesus did not rise from the dead and therefore did not pay the price for sins, which is meant to imply that He was not God in human form.

Jesus stated that He would be raised as the Serpent in the Wilderness, so that those who believe in Him might have eternal life. This is considered justification for an image of a man nailed to a cross as being Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

• And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of man be lifted up, that whoever believes in him may have eternal life. (John 3:14-15)

The Bible is clear about Jesus being nailed to the Cross and afterwards being taken down. The symbolism for a logo and trademark is recognized as being more powerful than merely the name when it comes to business. Likewise, the Evil One influences the rulers of darkness in this present world to promote falsehood by virtue of symbolism. Not only does a picture say a thousand words, so do symbolic images and signs. Only when a person’s mind is revamped (once it has been cleansed) can a person recognize the truth about Creation. Mostly, people will be deceived by man-made images, even if a person sees this as being creative. Hence, the figure being crucified on a cross is promoted to represent the Lord of Life, but conveys hopelessness and death, whereas an empty cross does not give this impression.

• You shall not make for yourself a graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them or serve them; for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments. The Second Commandment is omitted in publications of a certain Christian denomination. The denomination's writers claim that the Second Commandment forms part of the First Commandment and need not be mentioned. When Jesus rose from the dead, He was not placed again on the Cross, he was taken up in glory and sits at the right hand of God.

The idea of Jesus still being on a cross is foreign to what the Bible teaches. In fact, creating a cross and placing a figurine on it, to represent the Savior of mankind, is a violation of the Ten Commandments and, therefore, sin which cuts people off from God.

The only possible reason the cult of Jesus being on a cross has come to exist is this world is the wicked rulers of darkness that have control also have an agenda other than loving their neighbors as themselves. Maybe this is why priests are supposedly invested with the power to turn a wafer into the body of the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ. Yet they unable to heal the sick with this dubious power to transform dead matter into that which lives.

The reason why the Romans adopted Christianity is because they could not stamp it out. Influenced by the Evil One, they decided to turn it into a political means by which people could be controlled. There is a massive difference between true religion and the manmade counterfeits. For true religion relies solely upon Spirit of the Living God to empower people and help them overcome suffering and death.
