Any religion that is not true—in that it is not a quest for the truth—is strange (as in foreign) to those who only want the truth. However, people are easily influenced to do evil and once they begin believing falsehood, leading them down rabbit holes becomes rather easy. Consequently, there are many so-called manmade religions that are strange—even weird.
Anyone bowing before statues and believing that doing so is beneficial in some way not only is strange behavior for seeking the truth, it is weird. Anyone who counts beads as part of their quest for truth is strange. Anyone who attempts to contact the dead is acting strange. Anyone who believes that people can perform magic with a piece of bread and transform it into a person is strange.
- Yahweh said to Moses, “Behold, you shall sleep with your fathers. This people will rise up, and play the prostitute after the strange gods of the land, where they go to be among them, and will forsake me, and break my covenant which I have made with them.” (Deuteronomy 31:16)
Rather than seek the truth and walk in the light of life, people are predisposed towards going after strange gods and practicing strange rituals and rites that having to do with the God of the Universe. This is evidenced in what the Creator of Israel told the Israelites. How much more will those who have not had any experience of the Eternal One’s providence be inclined to go after strange gods and create false religions, which are nothing but the imagination of a human being’s overactive mind.
The Way To The Truth Is Easy To Find, But Only If You Truly Want To Know
