As a person who is a Christian because I have been born of God through the process of the washing and regeneration of the Word of God within my innermost being (Titus 3:5), it is difficult for me to accept things that are not true.
When I watched Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins look like they had been told that they are death’s row after they purportedly returned from their trip to the moon and back, I knew they were liars. Nobody who had just successfully had a bungy jump comes back looking as if they are about to die (click here). But how much more if three men go to the moon and come back alive—particularly, if they are first three men to do so (here). One would have thought they would be like Felix Baumgartner, who is true to form (here).
When it comes to anyone splitting the moon apart, every half moon is tracked to become a full moon and return to being a half moon every 29.5 days. The saying “the proof is in the pudding” essentially means the same as “you will know the truth of what a person says by their fruits”. When one understands the Bible and sees the progressive revelation and the outworking of the salvation of humans as planned by the Lord God, does Muhammad come up with good fruit?
Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves. By their fruits you will know them. Do you gather grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree produces good fruit; but the corrupt tree produces evil fruit. A good tree can’t produce evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree produce good fruit. (Matthew 7:15–18)
In the Bible, we learn there are different types of fruit that are either good or bad. One is the fruit of the lips and another is the fruit of righteousness. The fruit of light is only found in those who speak, and do, what is good, right and true. The saying that “you shall know them by their fruit” holds up.
