Propaganda is promoted by people who make erroneous claims about the Bible. Propaganda is also promoted by those who claim they are scientific but promote assumptions rather than knowledge.
Just as any book ought to be permitted in any education system, so too should the Bible be permitted to be examined to see whether it stands up to scrutiny. Merely selectively misquoting texts out of context is not true scientific investigation.
Unfortunately, anti-Bible propaganda is promoted by those who oppose the ideals within the Bible but seek to impose their own beliefs that the world began with a big bang and, from that point of time, by chance, out of nothing, complexity emerged. Science requires reproducible evidence not the fake tricks of magicians.
Scientifically, there is no proof of this theory, even though many people make unbelievable inferences to the contrary. Yet the Bible is supported by the fact that people who do not forgive other people will seek revenge and cause mayhem in society. However, it is not fitting to have this meme of forgiveness and loving each other being promoted—lawyers would have no work.
The statement in the Bible that the heart of man is inclined to evil rather than good is evidenced by the justice system, where certain individuals and couples and families can violate security, charity and corruption laws and get a pass—meanwhile those who are not part of the establishment or cannot blackmail judges are sentenced to imprisonment.
- The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately corrupt; who can understand it? (Jeremiah 17:9)
- Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! (Isaiah 5:20)
Notably, some schools do not ban the Bible. Whether this is because they truly desire to scientifically analyse its claims and consider the archaeological support for its historical accounts is another matter. Not banning the Bible does not mean that the book is being read by pupils. Therefore, the weight of evidence appears to be that those who want the Bible banned are seeking to promote evil rather than good.
