Firstly, a definition of a Christian theocracy is required. Too many think from a worldly perspective that a Christian theocracy is run in the same manner Calvinists ran Geneva or how the Roman Catholic Church might be governed. This is not the case.
Secondly, for the United States of America to be a Christian theocracy, everybody would have to be a Christian. This means that they would have to be transformed individuals who hated evil and desired righteousness.
Thirdly, people would be loving their neighbor as themselves. There would be no fake news and no politicians making false promises or beholden to criminal cabals. The United States Department of Justice would not be required. In fact, there would not be any requirement for any central government agency—agencies with initials such as EPA, IRS, DHS, DEA, etc.
A Christian theocracy is the government of people by Lord Jesus Christ, who empowers all His subjects with peace, joy and love.
A Christian theocracy would distinguish itself by the fact that all citizens would serve their neighbor and even excel in doing everything for the common good.
The Apostle Paul instructed Christians, existing in a world that is not a Christian theocracy to live as if it were.
- So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any incentive of love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. Do nothing from selfishness or conceit, but in humility count others better than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. (Philippians 2:1-7)
The difference for the United States of America is that if—and this is a big “IF” because if is not going to happen, but if it were—ruled as a Christian theocracy, and the other countries were not, there would be no need for an army—a military, police, investigators or any intelligence agency.
When ruled by the only Immortal GOD Who created the Universe, peace would reign in the USA, and nobody would dare oppose the LORD GOD.
The Bible portrays a scenario that is to happen, at the end of the 1000 year reign of Lord Jesus Christ on Earth, that demonstrates the power of Christian theocracy.
The book of Revelation instructs us that the Evil One will be permitted to influence people all over the globe to attack the government of the day. The end is a forgone conclusion. The rebellion is crushed and the Creator of the Universe becomes the Judge of the insurrectionists.
- Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom judgment was committed. Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their testimony to Jesus and for the word of God, and who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life, and reigned with Christ a thousand years. The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he who shares in the first resurrection! Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and they shall reign with him a thousand years. And when the thousand years are ended, Satan will be loosed from his prison and will come out to deceive the nations which are at the four corners of the earth, that is, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle; their number is like the sand of the sea. And they marched up over the broad earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city; but fire came down from heaven and consumed them, and the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulphur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night for ever and ever. Then I saw a great white throne and him who sat upon it; from his presence earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Also another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, by what they had done. And the sea gave up the dead in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead in them, and all were judged by what they had done. Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire; and if any one’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.
In the event that the USA were to become a Christian theocracy, there would have to be peace on Earth. There would be no industrial-military complex to accommodate. Fossil fuels and electricity would not be needed. The source of power would be provided by the Lord Jesus Christ Himself, the Light of the world.
Human abilities would be exponentially increased, over and above the limited abilities of the most advanced technology possessed by the cabal of conspirators bent on destruction today. This is the advanced technology that caused on that fatal day of 9/11, the Twin Towers, buildings 5, 6, 7 and parts of other buildings at the complex to disintegrate into dust, lest the debris fell to the ground and caused Manhattan to be flooded because the bathtub cracked and the slurry wall that keeps the river out failed. The most advanced technology today does not compare with what the Creator of the Universe has for everyone who understands that all things are possible for those who possess sufficient faith.
Any person claiming to be a Christian ,who would not want a theocracy, obviously has no idea of what it means to know Lord Jesus Christ and acknowledge the power He has. There can be no Christian theocracy on Earth unless Lord Jesus Christ Himself is reigning in person.
A Christian theocracy may seem like communism, except, the United Soviet Socialist Republic, Communist China and North Korea are ruled by tyrants or imperialists, who do not understand that those who receive respect shall be the servants of the people, not tyrants lording it over slaves living in fear.
