Many of the proofs for a flat Earth are based upon a theory. Read on and you will see some real proof.

The Earth is not flat, it is about 6 miles deep below sea level in some places and about six miles high above sea level in other place, add to this tides, water moving all the time and the fact that the land rises.  Depending upon the path of the Sun which is always rises East to West and never the other way around, Antarctica, being on the edges of the Earth, would have tropics and sub tropics where the Sun rises and sets.

1. The Sun would have to travel in four different directions as it transverses around the Earth: East to West, South to North, West to East and North to South before returning East to West to begin the cycle for the next twenty-four hours. 
2. Since we can prove that half Earth has light shining on it for 12 hours, while the corresponding half is in darkness, the Sun moving at a rate of approximately 1000 mph to give the requisite time zones which are found in Siberia and Australia to be exactly the same. Unless the Earth is a ball, the Sun cannot return and Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) [- https://greenwichmeantime.com -]  time would not be accurate.

Two very important facts not being taken into account by Flat Earthers. 

1. If the Earth's atmosphere is contained within a space, then everything within that space would be like being in a moving object such as a aircraft cabin or train passenger carriage. 
2. If the Earth is not moving, this does not mean it is flat and not a globe, the evidence for those who have traveled around the globe is that you can start at one point and travel across the oceans and return to the original destination having set off to the East and returned from the West.

Another fact is that you will always see a circle no matter how high you go. But your natural vision is limited and the distance you can see is affected. On a ball or a globe, depending how high you go, at the widest portion of a very large ball you are prevented from seeing the curve inwards beyond that point. A extremely large ball, say four miles radius would look flat to you if you were standing on the top, but the surrounds would look like the sky does as it dives below the Earth, when view the circular horizons from a tall building or mountain peak.

Flight time from Melbourne to Santiago is 15 hours 20 minutes. Distance from Melbourne (37.8136° S, 144.9631° E) to Santiago (33.4489° S, 70.6693° W) is approximately 11300 kilometers. Which being towards the bottom of the globe is not at far as if it were at the equator

Non-stop flights with South African Airlines from Perth, Australia (31.9505° S, 115.8605° E) across the Indian Ocean to Pretoria, South Africa, (25.7479° S, 28.2293° E) some 5168 miles take approximately 11 hours. Which is consistent with a plane flying around 500-550 mph for much of the trip. A plane leaving Perth time 12.00 midnight would land in Pretoria 5.00 pm (17 hours later), consistent with the Sun moving around the Earth at around 1000 miles an hour at the Equator.

What many who are being gullibly duped into accepting the flat-earthers' theory is  this is one of those psy-ops where people are sucked in and then they are banned from using the internet because they start propagating false information (Fake News) that can be proven false, as pointed out above regarding flights from Australia to Chile.
