Touted as experts, doomsayers claim World War 3 is going to happen when Trump attacks North Korea and the Russians and Chinese are going to attack the USA.

Using the Bible as their means for making authoritative predictions, aspiring Elijah-types have been nominating every year since 2000 as the year of the Lord; eventually one will be right 

Meanwhile, multitudes around the world are becoming blasé about the return of Lord Jesus Christ, which is clearly prophesied in the New Testament and even found in the Old Testament.

If people actually read the Bible and wait for the truth to be shown to them, rather than making assumptions, they would learn that Jesus Himself said that the desolating sacrilege (a.k.a. abomination of desolation) spoken of by the prophet Daniel has to occur prior to His return.

But when you see the desolating sacrilege set up where it ought not to be (let the reader understand), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. (Mark 13:14)

This abomination of desolation is mentioned by the Apostle Paul, where he states:

Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our assembling to meet him, we beg you, brethren,  not to be quickly shaken in mind or excited, either by spirit or by word, or by letter purporting to be from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come.  Let no one deceive you in any way; for that day will not come,unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of perdition,  who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God. (2 Thessalonians 2:1-4)

How often have you heard that history repeats itself?

Well, the abomination of desolation, where a desolating sacrilege occurs, actually happened when "on the fifteenth day of Chislev, in the one hundred and forty-fifth year, they erected a desolating sacrilege upon the altar of burnt offering" (1 Maccabees 1:54).

On Chislev (Nov.-Dec.) 25, 168, the "abomination of desolation" (Dan. xi. 31, xii. 11) was set up on the altar of burnt offering in the Temple, and the Jews were required to make obeisance to it.— Jewish Encyclopedia

​The Jews hate Lord Jesus Christ and those who are called by His name; hence, we read the date of Chislev 25, 168 BC, in the Jewish Encyclopedia instead of Chislev 15, 168 BC, as per the book of Maccabees.

This desolating sacrilege is going to happen once more​, and then Lord Jesus Christ will return.

However, many people believe that what is happening regarding Israel is just the Zionists attempting to create a nation from which they will rule the world, and this is not Bible prophesy coming to pass.

Mark Taylor produced a prophecy during the US Presidential elections claiming that Donald Trump would be elected, which  he said came from God.

Included in that prophecy (published on June 13, 2016) Taylor said: For the ties between Israel and America will be stronger than ever, and Israel will flourish like never before.

​If you happen to listen to the many sources that are presenting their views about what is going to happen and you do not have a sound means by which to assess what is being said, you will be confused.

All too often there is truth mixed with error, not because these people are necessarily intentionally trying to deceive, but because they are being presumptuous or seeking to be sensational, so that they might get a hearing.

The amazing truth is that for the prophecies of the Bible to come to pass, individuals freely making decisions have to do what is required for this to actually occur.
