GIRL ASKS TO SEE JESUS, SO SHE CAN PAINT HIM AND A TALL MAN APPEARS AT THE DOOR OF HER PARENT'S HOUSE WHEN SHE ANSWERS THE KNOCK ON THE DOOR. Whether This Was The Image Of The Real Jesus Is Open To Question But The Girl Thought He Appeared And Painted His Portrait. Interestingly, the length of Jesus' hair may be considered short or it may be considered long, as this depends upon one's perspective, because, for a woman, shoulder length hair is not considered long.

Akiane Kramarik is an absolutely remarkable self-taught artist, as those who have seen her paintings attest.
Akiane desired to paint what Jesus of Nazareth looked like. She claims she prayed to God to send to her a man who would be her model for what Jesus of Nazareth looked like.
A tall man turned up at her place one day.

To quote from the website Art-soulworks. com entitled Akiane Kramarik ~ Child Prodigy Artist Inspired by God:
“By age 6, Akiane’s heavenly encounters had prepared her to paint portraits of Jesus Christ, yet she felt she needed a model with the same facial features as the images of Jesus she saw in her visions. Yet it was 2 more years before Akiane’s prayers were answered. After an exhaustive search, a man fitting Akiane’s vision of Jesus knocked on the door and offered to be her model. Akiane’s portrait of Jesus, which she titled “Prince of Peace,” soon received worldwide acclaim.”[1]
Another person can attest to having seen a vision of Jesus walking among the crowds of His day and being head and shoulders above all and sundry. He had curly dark brown hair. When he bent His knees and lowered himself into the crowd the authorities did not know where he went, because they were looking for a person who was taller than the others.
  • So they took up stones to throw at him; but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple. (John 8:59)
Zacchaeus was of such short stature, that he could not see over the heads of the crowds that he had to get on a tree to see Jesus. Now if Jesus were shorter than or the same height as everyone else, even being on a tree could have been difficult for Zacchaeus to see him among the throngs. Still, Jesus was passing his way, and Zacchaeus got to speak to Him.
  • He entered Jericho and was passing through. And there was a man named Zacchaeus; he was a chief tax collector, and rich. And he sought to see who Jesus was, but could not, on account of the crowd, because he was small of stature. So he ran on ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see him, for he was to pass that way. And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up and said to him, “Zacchaeus, make haste and come down; for I must stay at your house today.” (Luke 19:1-5)
Apparently the man portrayed by Akiane as Jesus of Nazareth was 7ft tall, had three inch long hair—which is not particularly long (Prince Of Peace - Akiane Gallery)—and happened to be a carpenter.
