THE BOOK OF REVELATION IS DIFFICULT FOR MOST PEOPLE TO UNDERSTAND. Those Who Claim They Understand The Book Of Revelation Have So Far Been Proven Incorrect. Is there anyway of demonstrating a commonsense view?

The seven heads of the beast in Revelation 13 are often interpreted variously as the --Alan Santos seven mounts of Rome, seven fold form of government among the Romans, seven capital cities of the Roman Empire, seven emperors of Rome, seven empires, seven continents, the number of perfect knowledge. The seven heads of the beast are often interpreted by Revelation 12:3; or Revelation 17:9.

One interpretation is the seven heads are a world power setting up itself as God, and caricaturing the seven Spirits of God. This is very close to what has actually happened in respect to the Earth having been taken over by the Evil One. Known as the Prince of the Power of the Air, the Evil One is at work in the hearts and minds of those who are disobedient in respect to the commandments of God. These are those who claim to enjoy doing whatever they like and could not care for a relationship with the Omnipotent, Omniscient, Creator Lord God.

The smallest land mass that is recognized as a continent on Earth is Australia, which at 7,682.300 sqkm (2,966,152 sqm) is three times the size of the largest island Greenland 2,166,086 sqkm (836,109 sqm).

There are different models of how many continents exist, ranging from four to seven. The four continents model consists of Americas, Antarctic, Australia and Eurasia-Africa, with the seven model being Africa, Antarctica, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America and South America; or in descending size: Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Antarctica, Europe, and Australia. The seven continent model is the generally accepted model. This being the case, we will see what it could mean in respect to the seven heads of the beast.

The fact that one of the continents is uninhabited (apart from scientists at small bases), we have six continents inhabited when the Book of Revelation was written and one uninhabited. The seven hills of Revelation represent the continents of the world and but only six are technically inhabited by man. The Devil controls the world system that operates on six continents. He seeks to become as God, but lacks the seventh criterion that only the Infinite One possesses. (Actually, the Devil lacks more than one of the criteria that the Seven-fold Spirit of God possesses.)

Nevertheless, in the Bible, the number for God's Spirit is seven and the number for man is six. Coincidentally, we just happen to have six inhabited continents and one uninhabited, which are are a type of man and the Spirit of God. The seven heads of the beast represent the world system that controls the Earth, even though one of its heads is wounded (Antarctica ?).

The 10 horns have been variously claimed to represent eras, Roman emperors, kings, countries, and regions.

In the days when the dispensationalists were touting the Roman Empire being resurrected and Rome would rule over ten nations of the European Union, what they overlooked was that there were ten economic regions designated by the UPC barcode system, which is to monitor the manufacture, transit and retail of all goods to the customers. Now all those false prophets are looking elsewhere to find other theories.
It just so happens that every barcode has the number 666 as part of its code, even though it can number every item that is produced for sale. Today people cannot buy or sell a manufactured good without the number 666.

The current evidence looks like that the beast with the seven heads and ten horns represents the world system that has ten regions for buying and selling goods that conform to what is written in the book of Revelation that no one will be able to buy or sell without the mark of the beast, which is 666.

Every day when most people buy and sell manufactured goods, they are fulfilling what is written in the Bible. In the book of Revelation, it does say that understanding this number calls for wisdom. No wonder God laughs at the fools (Psalm 2:4) who say that He does not exist and the Bible is a book of fables.
