The Venus Project was founded by futurist Jacques Fresco (Born: March 13, 1916--Wiki). The contradictory premise of the film is that we do not make choices from freewill, we are conditioned by culture and events.
Fresco and Henry Schillinger Jr. Ph.D. Dept. Psych. Cal Uni. California argue that human behavior is conditioned by culture and events, but people do not know what forces are involved that are shaping human behavior.
Around 9.15 minutes into the documentary, Schillinger contradicts their own argument, saying "they invent their own concept and project their own values into human behavior". So much for culture. There is a creator after all.
This a propaganda film designed to lure those who do not have critical thinking skills.
Nevertheless, there are some interesting observations even if their underlying thesis of evolution is flawed. This observation of the signs of our times is worth watching because it identifies some important issues around the globe.
Of course, when Lord Jesus Christ returns, there will be peace on Earth and righteousness shall reign. However, only those who choice to seek out the Son of God will be found by Him.
You, Solomon my son, know the God of your father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind; for Yahweh searches all hearts, and understands all the imaginations of the thoughts. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will cast you off forever.
