The Climate change farce has been sponsored by the powers
that be in an attempt to create uncertainty in a world where certainty is very
much the norm.
How can we say certainty is normal? Nothing is certain on the
stock exchange. Political parties are not guaranteed perpetual government. Terrorism
could occur at anytime. The weather can change as quickly as the direction of
the stock market, and who knows which way the wind will blow in an hour’s time—in
fact, ask a yachter and he or she will tell you that a change of wind could happen any
minute.
Looking at the big picture nothing really changes much and
this breeds certainty. The Earth completes one spin on its axis every
twenty-four hours[i]; the
moon revolves around the Earth every twenty-eight days[ii],
the Earth orbits the sun every three hundred and sixty-five days[iii].
While the Earth is travelling through
space at a speed of about 67,680 mph (18.5 miles/sec) which is 112,800kph (30.8
km/sec), it is spinning at a speed of 1037mph (1670kph) at the equator.
If those speeds are making you a bit giddy, while the Earth is speeding and spinning at a rate, the Moon orbits the Earth at a speed of 2,288mph (3,683kph). This has
been going on for billions of years if the scientific theorists are correct, but
according to the Bible for about 26,000 years (read the Only Words Written By The Finger Of God). This is why, when speaking to the residents of
Lystra (present day Klistra, Turkey) sometime around the year 50AD, the Apostle Paul was able to
say:
[God] didn’t leave himself without witness, in that he did good and gave you rains from the sky and fruitful seasons, filling your hearts with food and gladness (Acts 14:17 World English Bible).
According to a published report by scientists, studying tree
rings in Germany, the planet has been cooling for the last two thousand years.
According to these scientists:
The very warm period during the years 21 to 50AD has been underestimated by climate scientists.
If the
Earth has been cooling since, the cooling rate has been very slow. Evidently,
the scientists have determined that:
it has been only .6C over 2,000 years, which they have attributed to changes in the Earth’s orbit taking it further away from the Sun. [iv]
Now that we have had a look at the big picture, we can have
a look at the smaller picture. In general, we know that people are born and
people die. Although the current rates are slightly different to the following
figures of births and deaths, that people are born and people die, we can be
certain.

• 360,000 births per day • 151,600 people die each day
• 15,000 births each hour • 6,316 people die each hour
• 250 births each minute • 105 people die each minute[v]
The Earth’s population is increasing, even though people are
dying. But the increase is about 120,000 people each year. According to 2014
report of the Population Reference Bureau:
“In much of the developing world, demographic change has contributed to economic growth and reductions in poverty. Over the last 40 years, women are having fewer children, from 4.7 children per woman in 1970 to an average of 2.5 children today. … World population is expected to rise from 7.2 billion today to 9.7 billion by 2050, and virtually all this future growth will be concentrated in the world’s less-developed countries, especially in Africa.”[vi]
The question is what happens to all these souls who are born
just to die. Every year there are over 150 thousand people who have to give an
account of themselves to God.
Jesus said to Nicodemus:
Jesus answered him, “Most certainly, I tell you, unless one is born anew, he can’t see God’s Kingdom.” Nicodemus said to him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?” Jesus answered, “Most certainly I tell you, unless one is born of water and spirit, he can’t enter into God’s Kingdom! That which is born of the flesh is flesh. That which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Don’t marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born anew.’ The wind blows where it wants to, and you hear its sound, but don’t know where it comes from and where it is going. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.” (John 3:3-8 World English Bible)
When the Apostle Paul was speaking to the people in his day,
he actually told them there was a change in the climate, that is, the spiritual
climate of man. Now whether this has anything to do with the Earth cooling
down, I do not know. What I do know is the Apostle Paul referred to the spiritual
climate change that has taken place since the resurrection of Lord Jesus Christ
when speaking to the people at Lystra:
“Men, why are you doing these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and bring you good news, that you should turn from these vain things to the living God, who made the sky and the earth and the sea, and all that is in them; who in the generations gone by allowed all the nations to walk in their own ways. Yet he didn’t leave himself without witness, in that he did good and gave you rains from the sky and fruitful seasons, filling your hearts with food and gladness.” (Acts 14:15-17 World English Bible)
Evidently, a new order has come into play that changed the
way things were before the death and resurrection of Lord Jesus Christ. Nations are no longer walking in their own ways, what is happening is in accordance to a grand plan.
We have seen many changes since the days of Paul the Apostle, especially, in
technology, and they are taking place at a rate. Yet history seems to repeat itself and
men and women, although living more comfortable lives overall, still do the
same things that are requisite to life on this planet. And the stock market will move up and down
during the day, but the overall trend of the market will be up, even when there
are crashes. The tides will respond to the moon and the seasons will be change as
the Earth speeds around the Sun. Variations in weather will be like the stock
market, and yachtsman will still have to guess at which way the wind will blow
with each gust. As Jesus said, where the wind comes from and where it goes is difficult to tell, even though we might hear the sound of it.
The question is though: What are you going to do? Worry about the terrorists? Worry about the economy? Worry about the weather? Or worry about whether you are going to Paradise or Prison (Heaven or Hell) when you die?
Regarding prison after death, (pardon the pun), unfortunately, according to Jesus, it is a life sentence with no remissions for good behavior. In this respect, concerning your future, a change of climate needs to take place within the uncertainty of your mind right now.
Instead
of uncertainty, settle for the certainty that God is in control. This is the God who created the Earth to
spin like a top, while travelling one hundred times faster than the speed of a speeding bullet[i] around the Sun for century after century without mishap and positioning the moon to orbit the Earth twice as fast as a bullet.
