When asking whether we regard the Bible in any way at all, one can take it or leave it. People have no regard for those whom they do not know, let alone the Bible, or the One Whom the Bible testifies. After all, why would anybody want to have any regard for the Creator of the Universe and the One to Whom we will all have to give an account of ourselves?
Most people think they can do whatever they like, whenever they want, as long as they do not get caught. The problem with this thinking is death catches up with everyone. Try and avoid death. Evidently many have, but all have failed. David Rockefeller is said to have had six or seven hearts and died on the operating table when in the process of getting another one.

There has been a massive push to assist China gain world dominance. Not only does China have the largest population, a status it hopes to retain, now that the one child policy has been dropped. The fact that China’s currency backs the International Monetary Fund’s world currency is ominous as far as some people are concerned. Especially, those who read the Bible and see that in the book of Revelation some 200 million warriors are going to swarm across the Middle East from the East—presumably, China.
Now I am not saying that I agree that China is going to send an army of 200 million people across the Eurasian continent to conquer the globe and bring everyone under Communism or Chinese rule; but this is what some people have thought, because of what is written in the book of Revelation.
- Then the sixth angel blew his trumpet, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar before God, saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphra′tes.” So the four angels were released, who had been held ready for the hour, the day, the month, and the year, to kill a third of mankind. The number of the troops of cavalry was twice ten thousand times ten thousand; I heard their number.
Twice ten thousand (20,000) times ten thousand (10,000) comes to a total of two hundred million (200,000,000).
Now a person can regard this as nonsense. Or a person can take this seriously (as in Jacob's Touble). If a person takes this seriously, the question is whether the book of Revelation is purely allegorical or is it a mix of allegory and fact.
Some people claim that the book of Revelation refers to events that were taking place in the days of the writer. If the book of Revelation has no bearing on any events that were to occur at a later date, then what is the reference to the White Throne Judgment about, and the resurrection of the dead in the second resurrection, whose names are not found in the book of life, and who are to be thrown into the Eternal Lake of Fire, along with the Devil and his angels; not to mention the creation of a new Universe.
The book obviously points to the end of the current epoch in which the Universe exists, as we know it, and the creation of a new Universe. Not only this, it speaks of everybody not being able to buy and sell without the number of the beast, which is 666. As it happens, billions of people already are unable to buy and sell without this mark, except it is not tattooed on their forehead or on their hands—even if it is in their thoughts and they use their hands to facilitate what the number 666 represents, when buying and selling.
For all who disregard the Bible when it comes to daily living, let alone the end times, Jesus clearly states what God has to say about such individuals, regardless of how much wealth they might think they possess, or whether they have a place reserved in a cryogenics vault—although one wonders what will happen if the prices for cryogenic storage escalate and others were prepared to pay more for the place where a dead body already lies. Would the god of this world (mammon) win the day? Would self-preservation have the higher priority?
The end is nigh, and it will not be because North Korea is blowing up the world with nuclear bombs. The end is nigh because what is written in the Book of Revelation is already happening, and things are going to become worse.
