4 KEYS TO HEARING GOD'S VOICE AND HEARING YOUR REAL NAME, WHICH IN THE CASE OF PAUL WAS CHANGED TO SAUL AND IN THE CASE OF SIMON CHANGED TO PETER AND IN THE CASE OF ABRAM CHANGED TO ABRAHAM. Significant People Have Their Names Changed From That Given According To The Flesh To That Given To Those Born Of The Spirit And Who Understand That Their Father Is God And Their Desire Is To Do The Will Of God. Many people are still caught up in the flesh as they die in their cocoon because they could not shake their carnal desires to honor the flesh rather than do the will of God.

Dr. Mark Virkler had a very important revelation about how to hear God’s voice. This he was taught by the Spirit of God from the book of Habakkuk, chapter two.
  • I will take my stand to watch,
and station myself on the tower,
and look forth to see what he will say to me,
and what I will answer concerning my complaint.
    And the Lord answered me:
    “Write the vision;
     make it plain upon tablets,
so he may run who reads it.
    For still the vision awaits its time;
it hastens to the end—it will not lie.
    If it seem slow, wait for it;
it will surely come, it will not delay.
Behold, he whose soul is not upright in him shall fail,
but the righteous shall live by his faith. (Habakkuk 2:1-4)
Dr. Mark Virkler had tried various approaches to find favor with God in the hope of hearing His voice. In his book 4 Keys To Hearing God’s Voice, Dr Mark Virkler writes:
I read and memorized Scripture. I went to Bible college. I became an ordained pastor. I prayed and fasted. I obeyed the Lord’s commands to the best of my ability. And I closely questioned people who professed to hear from God, since I still didn’t know what His voice sounded like. Their favorite answer seemed to be, “You know that you know that you know.” Well, that didn’t help me because I didn’t know, and that is why I was asking them! I could not hear Him, see Him, or feel Him, and yet I was taught and believed that I had a relationship with Him. If I were married to someone I could not hear, see, or feel, I would be quite disappointed in my marriage relationship! It appeared to me that my “relationship” with Jesus was rather thin. It sure seemed more like a theology about Jesus than a relationship with Him.[1]
The four keys to hearing God’s voice and applying what God is saying to you in your life, after having entered into a relationship with Him through Lord Jesus Christ and being baptized in the Holy Spirit, are taken from Habakkuk chapter two, verses one to three. Although, the following draws from verses one to four:
  1. Stillness: Quiet yourself so you can hear God’s voice. (I will take my stand to watch, and station myself on the tower, and look forth to see what he will say to me, and what I will answer concerning my complaint.)
  2. Vision: Look for vision as you pray. (Write the vision; make it plain upon tablets, so he may run who reads it. For still the vision awaits its time.)
  3. Spontaneity: Recognize God’s voice as spontaneous thoughts that light upon your mind. (It will not lie. If it seem slow, wait for it.)
  4. Journaling: Write down that flow of thoughts and pictures. (Behold, he whose soul is not upright in him shall fail, but the righteous shall live by his faith.)
It is possible to receive personal revelation from Almighty God through the process of journaling, by learning to wait upon the Holy Spirit to guide and influence your thoughts, so that you may write them down, least you forget what the Spirit is saying to you. Many do not have an ear to hear what the Spirit says (Romans 11:8 cf. Revelation 2:7 and Revelation 2:11).
Bigoted indoctrinated religionists, who claim their dogmatic assumptions are the truth, reject the idea of having a personal relationship with Lord Jesus Christ. The dogmatists prefer their interpretation of the Bible, or a false belief system of philosophical thought, rather than acknowledging what the inspired written word actually states.
Instead of seeking the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ out, so they can be baptized in the Holy Spirit, religion’s bigots prefer to criticize those who have been baptized in the promised gift that brings eternal assurance. Because they detest the truth, bigoted dogmatists criticize people, who have been baptized in the Holy Spirit, as being exhibitionists suffering from a severe bout of uncontrollable emotionalism—once referred to as hysteria. Somehow the reality that love is an emotion—by which Jesus said that His disciples would be known—escapes every person big on bigotry and bereft of truth.
God is love. And love is poured into the hearts of genuine disciples by the Holy Spirit.
  • And hope does not disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit which has been given to us. (Romans 5:5)
Now if love were solely an act of the will, how could it be poured into a person’s heart, unless it is a different composition to that of the will?
When a person says, “I will pour milk into the cup,” and does, the will is not poured into the cup, but the milk—even though the pouring of the milk is an act of the will.
Habakkuk, chapter two, is not exactly speaking about the love of God being poured into the hearts of those who earnestly desire a relationship with the Creator of the Universe, but it does inform about receiving vision from Him.
Vision is given to those whom God loves. Love is only understood within a relationship. Therefore, those who have sought God out, and have found Him, do not just know that they know something has occurred, they have begun to experience a vibrant relationship with their Lord and Savior.
Dr. Mark Virker’s experience is slightly different to the brief notation accompanying each point above, denoting the four keys to hearing God’s voice—stillness, vision, spontaneity, and journaling. For Mark Virkler concentrates on Habakkuk, chapter two, verses one to three.
The above reference to the four keys includes verse four of Habakkuk chapter two, and incorporates a different slant in the trajectory to reach the apex, where the voice of God can be readily heard. Therefore, note well: it is only by faith that people journal.
  • Therefore, since we are justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 5:1)
  • But he who has doubts is condemned … because he does not act from faith; for whatever does not proceed from faith is sin. (Romans 14:23)
The above is not an exposition of the whole of the chapter. Nevertheless, it is written by faith in the hope that this might be of some assistance in pointing out at least the significance of the first few verses of the chapter.

MOSES WAS A MAN DECLARED TO BE MEEK, BUT DEFINITELY NOT WEAK. This Meekness Possessed By Moses Is Often Thought To Be A Sign Of Weakness, Not So Much Because Of A Lack Of Physical Strength But Character. Courage is what people like to extol, but having the courage to be a fool among other fools is not the same as being meek enough to become wise and recognize that being born to die is futile, therefore only a fool neglects his Creator.

Moses was a man who became rather self-deprecating. The young Moses was courageous, even presumptuous, when killing an Egyptian because of his mistreatment of Hebrews. When attempting to intervene in a dispute between two Hebrews, Moses was challenged concerning his authority, which he thought to assume.
In those days, when Moses had grown up, he went out to his brothers, and looked at their burdens. He saw an Egyptian striking a Hebrew, one of his brothers. He looked this way and that way, and when he saw that there was no one, he killed the Egyptian, and hid him in the sand.
He went out the second day, and behold, two men of the Hebrews were fighting with each other. He said to him who did the wrong, “Why do you strike your fellow?”
He said, “Who made you a prince and a judge over us? Do you plan to kill me, as you killed the Egyptian?”
Moses was afraid, and said, “Surely this thing is known.” Now when Pharaoh heard this thing, he sought to kill Moses. But Moses fled from the face of Pharaoh, and lived in the land of Midian, and he sat down by a well.
Years later Moses encountered the Living God. (Many think this is a fable, but the artifacts that have been found tell a different story.) Moses did not believe that he was capable of doing what was asked of him because he had come to see himself as a person of little strength and influence; a person of no importance.
The Lord God Almighty, Creator of the Universe, informed Moses, that with Him, he was capable of doing the impossible. Moses arose to the challenge, putting his trust in the Creator of the Universe, and the Hebrews were delivered from Egyptian slavery.
The first commandment of the Ten Commandments celebrates this fact, stating:
  • And God spoke all these words, saying, “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other Gods before me.” (Exodus 20:1-3)
The reality is that no person has the power to overcome death, which is the most important issue we need to resolve, if we are wise. Once we realize that the Lord God Almighty has the power to overcome death, we realize that He can also help us in every situation, providing we have a willing heart to learn the truth about ourselves, life, and the purpose for our existence.
Unlike a puppet on a string, dancing to the tune of sin and, its consequence, death, we can reason out the truth about being born to die—the result is a futile existence. Having done this, the next step is to call out to the Lord God, so that we may come to understand Him and the reason why the Universe was created.
We all unconsciously understand that we are vulnerable creatures subject to death, but consciously we are afraid to acknowledge this truth because of what other people might say, unless set free from this fear.
But who among those, who would criticize, has eternal life? None. Unless they possess the assurance that I possess, which the Bible says is the joy of salvation. The Psalmist knew about this joy, for he understood that it came from the Lord God.
  • Restore to me the joy of thy salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit.(Psalm 51:12)
A conscious decision to seek the One in Whom we live and move and have our being, might be the key to discovering not only what you might want, but, what you really need to discover the truth about life, so that you can be set free from your feelings of ineptitude and powerlessness.

MUHAMMAD WAS PREDICTED IN THE BIBLE, BUT FEW PEOPLE KNOW WHERE BECAUSE THEY HAVE NOT LEARNED TO BE TAUGHT BY GOD HIMSELF. Yet The Bible Teaches That All Who Are Baptized In The Holy Spirit Will Be Taught By The Spirit Of Truth So That They Will Know The Truth Rather Than Make Up Lies. Sadly, too many people believe what is false rather than the truth, and maybe it is because of this that Muhammad had to come, so Muslims could be a thorn in the flesh of people who claim to be Christians, but are not.

Actually there is a prophecy in the book of Daniel that accurately predicts the year of the prophet Muhammad. The prophecy actually points to Islam being part of the anti-Christ movement of the last days. When people understand the book of Daniel, and realize how it should be interpreted rather than the many incorrect interpretations that currently exist, the book is amazingly accurate.

Not only can we find prophecies pointing to Islam but also the Knights Templar and the atheism of the current age. There is an exact prophecy that tells of Israel’s return as a nation; not to mention the coming Antichrist. Furthermore, the book of Daniel actually states when the exact day the resurrection of those in Christ will be raised. These are both the dead in Christ and those who are alive, who are baptized in the Holy Spirit and are ready for return of Lord Jesus.
If you ever get a chance to obtain a copy of the book Jacob's Trouble, the above information is documented within its pages and much more. Short of actually naming the Antichrist, Jacob’s Trouble certainly narrows down the candidates.
Many are the verses that refer to the Son of God, the Messiah, as the One who is to come; but when it comes to Muhammad there is not one. Muhammad is not seen in the bright light, rather we learn from the writer, who wrote the book of Revelation:
  • Any one who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. (1 John 3:15)
When we understand the legacy of Muhammad, things do not bode well for him from a New Testament point of view. as per the list of killings ordered or supported by Muhammad. We can argue a case from the Old Testament that the likes of Moses, Joshua, Gideon, David were murderers, they were heralded as men of faith, so why not Muhammad. Calvinists claim that the murderer John Calvin is exempt from eternal punishment for his murders (John Calvin justified killing his theological opponents with the Bible) because he was chosen before the foundation of the world—which is Calvin’s doctrine to justify his murderous actions.
What the Old Testament pointed to was the Kingdom of God; this was to be introduced when the Messiah came. The account of Nicodemus provides evidence that he considered Jesus to be the Messiah, not because he was murdering people, but because He was performing miracles that were impossible for a mere man to do. Men can kill any other men quite easily, but when it comes to doing what only God can do, then Jesus stood out as unique.
  • Now there was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. This man came to Jesus by night and said to him, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that you do, unless God is with him.” Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born anew, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (John 3:1-3)
Such a pity that Muhammad was not able to demonstrate that he was honored of God by performing the works that Jesus did, so that people might have life. But then, even the Quran says Lord Jesus Christ will return a second time. No mention of Muhammad doing the same, though. I wonder why? Don’t you? Or maybe we really know! He was not ordained by God to be a prophet but came to be an accuser.

THERE IS SUPPOSEDLY ONLY ONE BIBLE AND ONLY ONE TRUTH, BUT THERE ARE MANY INTERPRETATIONS OF THE BIBLE EVEN THOUGH THE ONLY TRUTH REMAINS AND WILL NOT CHANGE. What Changes Are Being Made To The Truth Exist Because Of The Many Different Opinions People Have About What Is True And What Is False. Like looking in the mirror and believing something different to reality, opinions differ among people.

There is only one interpretation that is correct. This is expressed in words that state: I am the way, the truth and the life, no one can come to the Father except through me, therefore, without me you can do nothing, other than die in your sins.

Everybody interprets the world in which they live according to their own understanding. This is why atheists make absurd claims about the Creator not existing and insist that everyone ought to have a belief in something that happened millions of years ago, even though they have no proof. And don’t they remonstrate in vain—not having the power to overcome death.
If we are honest, we acknowledge that we first need to know something exists before we can understand that which we have come to have knowledge of existing. Without knowledge, we cannot understand; nor can we apply any wisdom in our lives.
Wisdom is "understood knowledge" applied to the benefit of the individual.
The Bible teaches (regardless of what version used) that those who obtain wisdom love themselves, and the beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord, which is the hatred of evil.
Any interpretation of the Bible that does not acknowledge that the Old Testament bears witness to Jesus Christ is false, as the Scripture states.
  • You search the scriptures, because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness to me; yet you refuse to come to me that you may have life. (John 5:39-40 - RSV)
  • You search and investigate and pore over the Scriptures diligently, because you suppose and trust that you have eternal life through them. And these [very Scriptures] testify about Me! And still you are not willing [but refuse] to come to Me, so that you might have life. (AMPC)
Unless a person recognizes the evil in the world, and abhors participating in it, then that person is not interested in knowing Lord Jesus Christ. The person might do the self-righteous thing and learn all manner of doctrines and philosophy, but actually seeking out Lord Jesus Christ so that one can be baptized in the promised Holy Spirit, such an individual is too proud to be humble. Instead, the person will attempt to demonstrate superiority of knowledge by arrogantly making unwarranted claims of expertise, or by appealing to others who know more but are like-minded.
Ironically, some people do good works in the hope that, by so doing, they might earn their salvation rather than simply seek out the Only Person ever to have risen from the dead.
Then there are those who think they are saved, because they have been baptized in water, and do good works to demonstrate to everybody that they are saved and part of the elect, even though they do not know the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ and have not been baptized in the Holy Spirit.
Why the need for the Holy Spirit?
Jesus said that the Holy Spirit, who is the Spirit of Truth, will teach the truth to those who receive Him and walk in the way of Holiness.
  • But when the Counselor comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness to meJohn 15:26
  • When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth; for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come. (John 16:13)
  • And by this we may be sure that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He who says “I know him” but disobeys his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him; but whoever keeps his word, in him truly love for God is perfected. By this we may be sure that we are in him: he who says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked. (1 John 2:3-6)
There is only one interpretation of the Bible that is the right one. This is where the truth of the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ is evidenced in the life of the person who claims to be a Christian, and the person is bearing witness to this fact, by walking in the same manner as their Savior walked.
Those who love doing their evil deeds, do not understand the fear of the Lord and, therefore, cannot possibly possess wisdom, no matter what they say.

UNJUST PUNISHMENT FOR VIOLATIONS NOT COMMITTED IS A VIOLATION OF JUSTICE IN ITSELF; BUT SURELY SO WOULD FORGIVENESS FOR CRIMES, TRANSGRESSIONS AND SINS COMMITTED BE A VIOLATION OF JUSTICE, TOO. Yet The Bible Informs Us That Everybody Has Been Forgiven Of Sin, Without The Need For Personal Restitution To Those Harmed, Through The Death And Resurrection Of The Son Of God, Having Taken On Human Form. However, once we have accepted our forgiveness and claimed our inheritance, Can we still wilfully continue to live as a person who has rejected forgiveness for sins and expect to have eternal life?

An atheist does not believe that Jesus died to save us from our sins. An atheist believes that there is no sin to be saved from. This is because, atheists believe that it okay to sin. Atheists believe that a temporal life is eternally significant. Atheists believe that being born to die is full of meaning and not an insult to intelligence.
People who believe in other gods, besides the Creator of the Universe, are superstitious or they are enslaved to a being that is not God.
The Apostle Paul, writing to the Galatians, stated that before they had become Christians and experienced the power of the Holy Spirit—a real phenomenon, not a make believe big bang—they were in bondage to beings. Being in bondage means that you cannot really do what you like.
  • Formerly, when you did not know God, you were in bondage to beings that by nature are no god. (Galatians 4:8 )
Humans are in bondage to death. Death has kidnapped humans and denied them eternal life. Death has even deluded some humans to think that they are really more intelligent today than the people were thousands of years ago, who moved the 1000 ton blocks. Or those who designed the pyramids and built them with laser precision accuracy. Death is deadly. Death has the last say. Well, that is, unless you are resurrected.
Jesus died so that people could be set free from the bondage of death. Jesus paid the required ransom price so that everybody held in bondage to death could have eternal life. Once a person receives eternal life, this life begins right now—otherwise it wouldn’t be eternal life—right?
If receiving eternal life were just a belief, then those who claim to possess it would be deluded, just like those who claim, as fact, some theory about evolution that cannot be proven; because no dog is turning into a cat in real time, and there is no verifiable evidence of such a happening ever caught on film.
Unless the required level of evidence can be provided, we all know that the only assurance we have about the theory of evolution is that it is a false belief, held by people who are afraid to acknowledge the truth about themselves. This truth is the IQ they possess is very high on the Ignorance Quotient scale, in fact, off the chart, because they do not possess omniscience.
Whether a person receives the assurance of eternal life, such as I possess, because he or she comes clean and acknowledges the truth about his or her ineptitude to overcome death, has nothing to do with me. This is something each person has to talk to the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ about.
If you think getting an audience with Donald Trump is difficult, try getting an audience with some hermit living in a cave in the Himalayas, who has sworn off human beings. Similarly, only the genuine seeker of truth who authentically desires an audience with the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ is permitted one.
The Bible tells us this is the case. Many people overlook what Jesus actually stated in the following text:
  • Jesus then said to the Jews who had believed in him, “If you continue in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.” They answered him, “We are descendants of Abraham, and have never been in bondage to any one. How is it that you say, ‘You will be made free’?” Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, every one who commits sin is a slave to sin. The slave does not continue in the house for ever; the son continues for ever. So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed. (John 8:31-36)
To obtain an audience with Lord Jesus Christ, where you can secure your freedom from death eternally, first you have to receive His word and begin to apply it in your life. Eventually, if you continue in the process of applying God’s word to your life, you will begin to realize the truth about yourself. Now once you have realized the truth about yourself, if Lord Jesus sees that you are genuine, for He searches your heart (Jeremiah 17:10; Revelation 2:23; Romans 8:27), He will set you free from death forever; which includes being set free from having to face the second death.
As for being punished for your sins that you commit after you have received the word of life: if you are genuine, you will not be willfully committing sin. But if you are just another hypocrite, then I am sure that Lord Jesus knows all about it. The one thing Jesus cannot stand is hypocrites. For He certainly has frequently stated, “Woe to you hypocrites!” (Read Matthew 23)
If you sin inadvertently, then we are told that we have an advocate with the Father, Lord Jesus Christ, the righteous, who is the expiation for our sins.
So, while Jesus has taken away the sin of Adam that left his progeny being born into captivity as slaves to sin and death, this does not exonerate us individually from our own responsibility to exercise our rights and take up our own cross and follow our Savior, spiritually speaking, to the place where we will be resurrected from the dead—right now!—because we will have been set free from all possibility of eternal punishment.
Repentance from dead works and faith towards God through Lord Jesus Christ depends upon whether you hate evil sufficiently to seek the righteousness of God. This righteousness has been made available to you through Lord Jesus Christ.

WHY DO PEOPLE WITH EXTRAORDINARY IQ’s AT SCHOOL SEEM TO BE LIKE SHOOTING STARS WHEN THEY LEAVE THE INSTITUTIONS WHERE THEY LEARNED TO REGURGITATE THE INFORMATION THAT THEY ARE FED? Do These People Merely Learn One Ability By Which They Are Able To Recall Facts But Lack The Intelligence To Think For Themselves And Make Decisions At A Social Level Or Could Some Other Factor Be At Work? One Proverb speaks about men making plans but not being able to direct the steps towards seeing that plan come to fruition.

One of the issues many people have about being responsible beings accountable for their own actions is the fact accountability also means that an evaluation is required that may form the basis of future judgment.
There is no need for accountability if there is no responsibility expected of anyone. Do whatever you want, to whomever you want, wherever you want, whenever you want.
The problem with situational ethics is that this atheist view of life produces tyrants like Stalin, Mao and Kim Jong-un. Such individuals do whatever they want, to whomever they want, wherever they want, whenever they want, and if you happen to be the target of such an individual’s ire—bad luck for you!
Godless people have no compunction about doing whatever, wherever, whenever. In which respect, it is a wonder that they bother to claim the moral high ground. You know the type: “If God exists, He has to answer to me. But I do not believe in Him, therefore He doesn’t exist. I believe in the big bang. I believe life is temporary. I believe we are merely chemical reactions. I believe….” and so on goes the nonsense.
What is not nonsense is the truth that if godless people, who are atheists, did not have to give an account of themselves in some way to God-fearing people, they would not bother to claim any form of morality. But then, since many of these atheists have never really had to face crises that shake the very cells in their bones, not to mention those in their eyeballs, the reality of the truth about life seems foreign to them. Most of them are really carrying out the rebellion of their juvenile years that was repressed by their fears of being authentic human beings or suppressed because of their cowardice when among peers.
Does God purposefully block atheists’ plans to lead them to a better outcome?
The Bible teaches that what a person decides is up to that person. If a person decides to reject what God is seeking to do for the good of Creation, then that person has to give an account. It is no mystery that we read in the book of Isaiah that God desires to reason with us (Isaiah 1:18). Although, it can be difficult to reason with someone you do no know. In which case, we are told in the Bible that as an individual, we are given the opportunity to seek God out, so that we might feel after Him and find Him (Acts 17:26–28).
Any person rejecting the existence of God, does so, because of whatever reason is thought acceptable to the person.
This could be as petty as; “I said to God that I want to win the lottery, but you did not let me, so I know you do not exist.”
Or a case of immature narcissism: “God does not exist because I have an IQ (presumably, Ignorance Quotient) of 199.99, and because I am so smart I possess omniscience.”
You now how it goes, people stand in front of a mirror and genuflect in admiration of themselves: “Mirror mirror on the wall, why is it I am not the dumbest of them all. If God were like me, then He could join my delusion.”
Wisdom is the recognition that being born to die is futile; for if this is all that there is to existence, then this is an evil, especially when you can conceive of eternity. Moreover, being born to die and having to experience suffering between the two events is a compounded evil.
The Film It’s A Wonderful Life (1946) depicts what is found in the Bible, even if done with a hint of sarcasm—using Clarence, the clown. The story tells of a boy who makes a decision to save his brother, and this is the beginning of his forming a desire to rescue those who are drowning in the sea of financial debt. The intervention of the messenger from God saves the day. (Unbelievably, even children of this day and age enjoy the flick. After all, one has to admit, truth is timeless.)
Essentially, what we sow we reap. The eyes of the Omnipresent, Omnipotent, Omniscient One roam the Earth to see who hates evil and desires righteousness. Those who desire righteousness are the ones whom God desires to bless over and above all those who don’t.
  • And you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father, and serve him with a whole heart and with a willing mind; for the Lord searches all hearts, and understands every plan and thought. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will cast you off for ever. (1 Chronicles 28:9)
The words of King David to his son Solomon clearly indicate that the decision to do whatever we desire is ours. We can either seek God or reject Him. Freewill is our responsibility and we are accountable for what we do. That we understand there is accountability for being responsible for our actions, also tells us that judgment was a prerequisite for our possessing freewill; therefore judgment will probably be a requisite for entering the domain of eternity.
All things work together for good for those who are called according to the plan and purpose of our Creator. The essence of this plan and purpose is found in our exercising our freewill and seeking an audience with the One who loves us the most (1 John 4:10). Only the genuine need apply, as King David implies when telling his son, Solomon, that God searches the hearts of each one of us—no point in entering a relationship with a person who lies (cf. Luke 8:15) .
You might think someone is pulling the wool over my eyes. But understand this: God has got not only my number but also your number. He can call you up anytime (Hebrews 9:27) . What you need to do is find the number of your Savior, so you can call him before it is too late (John 5:24). This is the message of the Bible.
God does not block your plans. Conditioning blocks your plans. Ignorance blocks your plans. Sin blocks your plans.
Sin brings forth death and each one is tempted to sin when enticed after his or her own desires. Each one is given the opportunity to acknowledge the truth. The truth is that the principles that govern the Universe, that govern human behavior exist, and the circumstance that appears to be God blocking your plans, is probably you making the wrong decision, or being taken to the limit of your ability (The Peter Principle). This God will use for good, in the hope that you might hear His voice.
