UNJUST PUNISHMENT FOR VIOLATIONS NOT COMMITTED IS A VIOLATION OF JUSTICE IN ITSELF; BUT SURELY SO WOULD FORGIVENESS FOR CRIMES, TRANSGRESSIONS AND SINS COMMITTED BE A VIOLATION OF JUSTICE, TOO. Yet The Bible Informs Us That Everybody Has Been Forgiven Of Sin, Without The Need For Personal Restitution To Those Harmed, Through The Death And Resurrection Of The Son Of God, Having Taken On Human Form. However, once we have accepted our forgiveness and claimed our inheritance, Can we still wilfully continue to live as a person who has rejected forgiveness for sins and expect to have eternal life?

An atheist does not believe that Jesus died to save us from our sins. An atheist believes that there is no sin to be saved from. This is because, atheists believe that it okay to sin. Atheists believe that a temporal life is eternally significant. Atheists believe that being born to die is full of meaning and not an insult to intelligence.
People who believe in other gods, besides the Creator of the Universe, are superstitious or they are enslaved to a being that is not God.
The Apostle Paul, writing to the Galatians, stated that before they had become Christians and experienced the power of the Holy Spirit—a real phenomenon, not a make believe big bang—they were in bondage to beings. Being in bondage means that you cannot really do what you like.
  • Formerly, when you did not know God, you were in bondage to beings that by nature are no god. (Galatians 4:8 )
Humans are in bondage to death. Death has kidnapped humans and denied them eternal life. Death has even deluded some humans to think that they are really more intelligent today than the people were thousands of years ago, who moved the 1000 ton blocks. Or those who designed the pyramids and built them with laser precision accuracy. Death is deadly. Death has the last say. Well, that is, unless you are resurrected.
Jesus died so that people could be set free from the bondage of death. Jesus paid the required ransom price so that everybody held in bondage to death could have eternal life. Once a person receives eternal life, this life begins right now—otherwise it wouldn’t be eternal life—right?
If receiving eternal life were just a belief, then those who claim to possess it would be deluded, just like those who claim, as fact, some theory about evolution that cannot be proven; because no dog is turning into a cat in real time, and there is no verifiable evidence of such a happening ever caught on film.
Unless the required level of evidence can be provided, we all know that the only assurance we have about the theory of evolution is that it is a false belief, held by people who are afraid to acknowledge the truth about themselves. This truth is the IQ they possess is very high on the Ignorance Quotient scale, in fact, off the chart, because they do not possess omniscience.
Whether a person receives the assurance of eternal life, such as I possess, because he or she comes clean and acknowledges the truth about his or her ineptitude to overcome death, has nothing to do with me. This is something each person has to talk to the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ about.
If you think getting an audience with Donald Trump is difficult, try getting an audience with some hermit living in a cave in the Himalayas, who has sworn off human beings. Similarly, only the genuine seeker of truth who authentically desires an audience with the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ is permitted one.
The Bible tells us this is the case. Many people overlook what Jesus actually stated in the following text:
  • Jesus then said to the Jews who had believed in him, “If you continue in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.” They answered him, “We are descendants of Abraham, and have never been in bondage to any one. How is it that you say, ‘You will be made free’?” Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, every one who commits sin is a slave to sin. The slave does not continue in the house for ever; the son continues for ever. So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed. (John 8:31-36)
To obtain an audience with Lord Jesus Christ, where you can secure your freedom from death eternally, first you have to receive His word and begin to apply it in your life. Eventually, if you continue in the process of applying God’s word to your life, you will begin to realize the truth about yourself. Now once you have realized the truth about yourself, if Lord Jesus sees that you are genuine, for He searches your heart (Jeremiah 17:10; Revelation 2:23; Romans 8:27), He will set you free from death forever; which includes being set free from having to face the second death.
As for being punished for your sins that you commit after you have received the word of life: if you are genuine, you will not be willfully committing sin. But if you are just another hypocrite, then I am sure that Lord Jesus knows all about it. The one thing Jesus cannot stand is hypocrites. For He certainly has frequently stated, “Woe to you hypocrites!” (Read Matthew 23)
If you sin inadvertently, then we are told that we have an advocate with the Father, Lord Jesus Christ, the righteous, who is the expiation for our sins.
So, while Jesus has taken away the sin of Adam that left his progeny being born into captivity as slaves to sin and death, this does not exonerate us individually from our own responsibility to exercise our rights and take up our own cross and follow our Savior, spiritually speaking, to the place where we will be resurrected from the dead—right now!—because we will have been set free from all possibility of eternal punishment.
Repentance from dead works and faith towards God through Lord Jesus Christ depends upon whether you hate evil sufficiently to seek the righteousness of God. This righteousness has been made available to you through Lord Jesus Christ.
