From personal experience, possessing a conscience means that I become convicted within myself of wrong-doing without having to go to court to be convicted by a judge.

There is an assumption that consciences differ from tradition to tradition, but in reality, according to the Bible, each person has a conscience that functions in the same way and is conditional upon what we know is right to do, even though we may excuse ourselves for doing what we know is wrong to do.

• When Gentiles who have not the law do by nature what the law requires, they are a law to themselves, even though they do not have the law. They show that what the law requires is written on their hearts, while their conscience also bears witness and their conflicting thoughts accuse or perhaps excuse them. (Romans 2:14-15)

You can connect Christianity to anything you like but it will not be true Christianity. That will be a virtual copy. True Christianity is about Lord Jesus Christ and has nothing to do with Santa Claus, Christmas Day and any of the other religious festivals that were superimposed upon people in an attempt to nullify the influence of true Christians.

Prayer is a subject that many people have theories about which may or may not be seem to true, depending upon the circumstances. But to answer your question, much depends upon what it is you are seeking when you are making supplication. Supplication is the act of making personal requests to God.

Some people have insufficient faith to receive that for which they pray, therefore they are not going to receive it.

A woman asked me to pray for her. I began praying for her to find out what her issues were and I had a vision of the woman with a spirit of lust around her. So I stopped praying. When I saw the woman the next day, I told her what I saw. She admitted that she was having problems with lust. She then asked what else I learned about her. I told her that when I saw the spirit of lust, I had no interest in praying for her any further.

This woman has been going everywhere asking people to pray for her and has attended numerous churches. She has even had a number of pastors come around to her place to caste out spooks and goblins and every other ghoulish thing they could imagine. She is still having major issues in her life, which would disappear if she confessed her sin and reconciled with her Heavenly Father through Lord Jesus Christ.

Even the Pharisees knew that sinners did not get their prayers answered. Just as many people who call themselves Christians do not get their prayers answered. The Pharisees thought that they were not like other sinners—because they were chosen of God before they were born—sound familiar? But these unbelieving Pharisees confused themselves with those who were righteous through faith. For only those who are righteous through faith in Lord Jesus Christ are chosen of God.

• We know that God does not listen to sinners, but if any one is a worshiper of God and does his will, God listens to him. (John 9:31)

• And this is the confidence which we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have obtained the requests made of him. (1 John 5:14-15)

The secret to getting prayers answered is finding out whether you have been heard of the Lord. Since the fear of the Lord is hatred of sin, maybe understanding what is sin would be a good place to start. Then one can repent and exercise faith towards God, because one knows what one is really doing, and not fooling around groping in the dark.

When a person interprets a given thing, this does not necessarily include analysis. Interpretation can simply be a matter of personal imagination and one’s opinion.
The term “analyze the Bible” does not sound very mystical, so for those who see spirituality as pure mysticism, the idea of analyzing the Bible would be a turn-off for them.

Contrary to popular belief, the Bible informs us through the prophet Isaiah that we are to seek God out, so that we can reason with Him. Many people, however, claim that we can only know God through revelation or intuition, but never through reason. Yet these same people will say that everything God does is for a purpose. So are we to believe, then, that God gave us the capacity to reason for no reason at all.

• You shall not hate your brother in your heart, but you shall reason with your neighbor, lest you bear sin because of him. (Leviticus 19:17)

• Hear now my reasoning, and listen to the pleadings of my lips. (Job 13:6)

• “Come now, let us reason together,” says the Lord: “though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool.” (Isaiah 1:18)

• But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, without uncertainty or insincerity. (James 3:17)

Just because people do not see their salvation from death, a matter of life and death, this does not mean that they have not got the capacity to reason and are irrational creatures of instinct that are born to become food for other creatures in some form or the other—in the wild, even dead elephants are food for vultures.

People claim God does not exist. Yet these people, who make these claims, have never made their appeal to God a matter of life and death, if they have made an attempt to reason with Him. I did. God spoke. And immediately afterwards, Jesus appeared to me.

Now when I read the Bible, I look to see what it can offer me in direction, because I have come to learn that this is a written resource that God uses to instruct people who seek the truth, so they can learn what is required of them.

When it comes to hermeneutics (interpretation of the Bible), my approach is objective and analytical, not reductionist and based upon assumptions. Nevertheless, by using the Scriptures found in the Bible, to interpret the Scriptures within the Bible, and not relying on any assumption—that is usually prefaced with “I believe” or “We believe”—my approach is inductive and analytical, even if purportedly circular, according to claims of the myth-makers, who deny its truth.

The term “analyze the Bible” does not sound unspiritual. Rather, the real issue depends upon how a person approaches analysis of the Bible. If the person begins with an assumption that is false, then the analysis is not spiritual, the same as any hermeneutic using that assumption would be unspiritual.

True spirituality is about “spirit and truth” not whether horse manure or cow manure is better for making turd blossoms grow.

• As for man, his days are like grass; he flourishes like a flower of the field; for the wind passes over it, and it is gone, and its place knows it no more. (Psalm 103:15-16)

Reality is about life and death, and what happens when a person dies because of what they did when they were living their temporal life on Earth. Any analysis of the Bible rejecting the truth that the prime concern of its pages is the violation of righteousness by men and women and the fact they live a futile life—having been born merely to die—may as well be delivered to the paddocks for the benefit of turd blossoms.

Seeking truth is different to seeking justification of one’s assumptions about life. When people overlook the obvious and then go on an analysis binge where reductionism is the rage to the detriment of the bigger picture, this is when people become fools who are fooled by their own foolishness.

A wise person nails the most pressing problem first, not last. For once the most important truth a person really needs to know is established, then one has eternity to do whatever one would like to do. As it happens, learning the purpose of the Omniscient One becomes the next wise course of action. Analyzing the Bible, using the natural method of inductive reasoning, reveals remarkable truths that keep being proven by archaeological finds and prophecy coming true.

• You have been born anew, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God; for “All flesh is like grass and all its glory like the flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower falls, but the word of the Lord abides for ever.” That word is the good news which was preached to you. (1 Peter 1:23-25)

Analyzing the Bible is not the same as interpreting the Bible, because a true analysis not based upon assumptions reveals truth, whereas interpretation, that is not exegetical and inductive, is based upon assumptions and eisegesis (human imagination and speculation as the basis of interpretation).

One could say, how is it a person is born to die and, because of this fact, everybody’s life is futile. But that would be too easy to answer.

They knew where the quarries were but, after extensive investigation, concluded that it would have been impossible to float one of the monolithic stones down the river; because it would have been too shallow at the best of times. The geological evidence does not support a river deep enough or wide enough to transport the massive stone blocks anywhere near the sites of the pyramids. Furthermore, the distance from the river to the pyramids is not far enough to provide a ramp with a gradient low enough that would permit the stone blocks to be pulled along, so that the blocks could be placed on top of each other. The conclusion was that whoever built the pyramids had access to technology that was not available in 1948. Well, not as far as the public are permitted to know. Yes. But not just because the Bible states that angels are used to bring people to salvation and the knowledge of the truth, but because I have seen him. This angel appeared to me a number of times before I was ten, again when I was thirteen and one more when I was twenty-six.

Unlike an angel with wings, this person looked like he was dressed up to be a riverboat gambler. He was dressed in black suit with long coat, a black vest a white frilled shirt and narrow ribbon bow tie. He wore on his head a black felt hat. The hat had a low crown in the panama style, with a medium round brim and light brown leather braid around the base of the hat just above the brim. This man possessed a golden yellow mustache and goatee; the same color of his shoulder-length hair.

Many children see angels and think they are people, because they appear to look like just like human beings. The real issue comes when childhood is left behind and people have to deal with a hostile world. If a person hates evil, then that person might look for an alternative world, one where righteousness dwells and love is found. Whereas a world that does not talk about love but spews hate, or is filled with people who are always eager to declare, “We need to fight for peace.”

As time goes by, those filled with hatred, who are not prepared to assume responsibility for their own actions, will seek to blame others for their misfortune. Instead of expressing hope, wherein they might become responsive to the promptings of the angel that is assigned to them, those who believe the lies (of hate and war being essential to know love and peace) push aside their angel to indulge the demons that begin to haunt them and create unfulfilled desires within their persons.

Unlike demonic forces of darkness, when it comes to angels, they are sent forth to guide those seeking salvation to the road of righteousness, so people can take up their cross and follow the way to the truth that brings life.
