CHRISTIANITY WITHOUT THE SON OF GOD WOULD NOT EXIST. Lord Jesus Christ Is The First Born Of Existence. To Take Lord Jesus Christ out of Christianity is to take the engine out of a car and turn it into a buggy that is not going anywhere, so that it becomes like other religions without any power— not being able to show you the way to the truth that leads to life eternal.

Is it right to say that Jesus is more important than Christianity?

Happy Riches
Christianity would not exist without Lord Jesus Christ. In fact, nothing would exist without the Son of God, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The Bible teaches that everything was created through Him. Even in the Old Testament, the Son of God is equated with God.
The Messiah, of whom the Old Testament said to expect, was the Son of God who would also be known as the Son of Man. The motif “Son of Man” was the appellation designated for the Son of God by the prophet Daniel, who wrote under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit; otherwise, he would not have recorded what he saw in the visions he had. Similarly, the writer of Proverbs equated the Son of God with possessing the Name of God.
  • I have not learned wisdom, nor have I knowledge of the Holy One. Who has ascended to heaven and come down? Who has gathered the wind in his fists? Who has wrapped up the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is his son’s name? Surely you know! (Proverbs 30:3-4)
  • I saw in the night visions, and behold, with the clouds of heaven there came one like a son of man, and he came to the Ancient of Days and was presented before him. (Daniel 7:13)
  • But that you may know that the Son of man has authority on earth to forgive sins”—he then said to the paralytic—“Rise, take up your bed and go home.” (Matthew 9:6)
  • For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the whale, so will the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. (Matthew 12:40)
  • He answered, “He who sows the good seed is the Son of man; the field is the world, and the good seed means the sons of the kingdom; the weeds are the sons of the evil one, and the enemy who sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the close of the age, and the reapers are angels. Just as the weeds are gathered and burned with fire, so will it be at the close of the age. The Son of man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all evildoers” (Matthew 13:37-41)
We learn from the New Testament that the Messiah is the Christ who is to come. Lord Jesus Christ was designated the Son of God by His resurrection from the dead.
  • Designated Son of God in power according to the Spirit of holiness by his resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 1:4)
The historical account of the book of Acts informs us that the disciples of Lord Jesus Christ were called Christians originally in Antioch and this was understood to require a conversion, evidenced some twenty years later in the reply by King Agrippa to Paul when at Caesarea.
  • And when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. For a whole year they met with the church, and taught a large company of people; and in Antioch the disciples were for the first time called Christians. (Acts 11:26)
  • And Agrippa said to Paul, “In a short time you think to make me a Christian!” (Acts 26:28)
  • If one suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but under that name let him glorify God. (1 Peter 4:16)
To suffer as a Christian because you identify with the Son of God brings no shame, for Jesus Christ is your Lord. However, to suffer because you have been identified as a Christian, or because you are wrongly perceived as part of Christianity simply by being a Westerner—even if you do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord—will bring shame. Christianity is merely an appellation given to a perceived state of existence that includes relics and ornaments representing various organizations that claim to acknowledge Christ. This could include the New Age concept of Christ consciousness, the mother of God, or other misleading ideas.
When considered in the context of everything that exists, it is clear that Lord Jesus Christ is more important than the concept of Christianity. A parallel can be drawn to the altar, which makes a gift holy and is therefore more important than the gift itself.
  • You blind men! For which is greater, the gift or the altar that makes the gift sacred? So he who swears by the altar, swears by it and by everything on it; and he who swears by the temple, swears by it and by him who dwells in it; and he who swears by heaven, swears by the throne of God and by him who sits upon it. (Matthew 23:19-22)
As is clearly evident in the words of Jesus, it is not what is added to a thing that makes it important, but rather what gives it importance in the first place. In this case, Jesus must surely be more important than Christianity.

GOD IS THE CAUSE OF EVIL ACCORDING TO CALVINISTS WHO QUOTE ISAIAH 45:7 IN THE KJV. The Real Meaning Is More Like God Creates Disaster Or Woe. The difference between being the father of good and the father of evil requires a deeper understanding of evil than just using the term “evil” as a synonym for everything that causes discomfort.

Happy Riches
Happy Riches, student of morality and existence
One of the most egregious claims made by the ignorati is that the Omniscient One is nothing but righteous in all His thoughts and actions, yet is the father of evil. Evil would not exist without a creator; therefore, the logic follows that the creator of evil must be the Creator of all Creation. Yet many do not believe in the Creator, except to scoff at those who claim to be more intelligent because they would not do evil.
Evil, of course, is defined by the Ten Commandments. It is the violation of trust between two parties. Evil is not the concocted variety of lawbreaking determined within the courts of human injustice, where partiality reigns to the extent that, depending on one’s political affiliation, free passes are given to the corrupt and devious.
Since evil is the violation of trust—the abuse of faith—only a fool would create evil, as this invalidates one’s own integrity. Being a false witness and a liar also invalidates one’s integrity. Whoever lies disqualifies themselves from being of sound mind and possessing any integrity, as that person is corrupt. Don’t worry; I am guilty of having lied, borne false witness, and committed many other evil deeds. Each of us is guilty of corrupting our integrity when we act naturally and think unrighteously, leading to unrighteous thoughts and actions. God the Creator, however, is not corrupt; He has not violated His own integrity.
God’s word is sure because there is no one else by whom He can provide an oath. If God’s word were not certain, we would not exist; Creation itself would not exist. Only a sure word of expectation that is definitive and exact in detail could bring forth the amazingly complex universe in which we all live. No creator would last long if he were a deranged individual acting in a despotic manner; instead, like a corrupt political party, he would become unable to function for the good of the people.
Jesus said that there was a father of lies (John 8:44). The Father of Lies is the one who deceives and influences each of us to act unrighteously, be partial, and debase ourselves by disqualifying our God-given right to uphold righteousness. Lacking the power to resist evil, we eventually succumb and believe the lie that our dishonesty does not matter, not realizing that we have just corrupted our own integrity. Think of this as rust finding its foothold in iron or oxidation within your body allowing candida to gain a foothold and produce a cancerous growth.
When we begin to grasp that the Universe functions upon sound principles, we deceive ourselves if we imagine that these principles were created by an unsound individual, whom we may as well call the Father of Lies. Only those who believe what the Father of Lies injects into their thoughts attribute evil to our Heavenly Father, the Lord God Almighty, in whom alone dwells immortality (1 Timothy 6:16).
Evil is the violation of faith—such as when you have faith that someone will not let you down, but they do. The first violation of faith originated with the first individual to believe the lie that corruption does not destroy one’s immortality.
Challenge the Creator and see who wins. Challenge the Judge who has the final say and see who laughs last. Challenge what is right and feel the ground beneath you begin to shift. The fact that graves are dug for those who die, so they can be buried and out of sight, correlates with the reality that those who do evil, rather than what is good, would rather hide than face the truth, as they cannot bear the thought of the shame when exposed. Fear grips many people in more ways than one. Fear is how politicians and the corrupt rule this world.
Why would the Infinite One, besides whom there is no other, and in whom we live and move and have our being, desire to do evil?
  • I am the Lord, and there is no other, besides me there is no God; I gird you, though you do not know me (Isaiah 45:5)
The only individual to have dishonored himself was the Father of Lies, who thought he could challenge the Creator of Life and live. Little did he know that what had not been seen prior to his violation of faith could come into existence, and an eternal abode would be prepared wherein emptiness and torment would be contained within the Infinite One for the rest of eternity. For if the Creator could create a space for the Universe to exist within Himself, creating a dark hellhole for the arrogant and ignorant would not be an impossibility; after all, it is just a hole—except one that is eternal.

POLITICS MASQUERADING AS DEMOCRATIC IS COMMON IN THE WEST. True Democratic Parties Don't Insist On Members Adhering To Party Lines, But This Is What Happens In The West And Why Political Parties Are Often Nothing More Than A Cult. Whenever a founder or a certain figure becomes synonymous with a particular party (e.g. Mao for communism) then that party has become cultic.

Happy Riches
No. Political parties are not a type of religion, but they can be considered a cult.
True religion is the quest for truth, whereas philosophy is the human reflection on what might or might not be the truth. Political philosophy is essentially the consideration of the best means to implement government. The involvement of humans means that similarities are common, which require specific nomenclature to differentiate the quests. Unless a person is sufficiently erudite to understand the different definitions of the terms used in philosophy and religion, much confusion can result.
A political party is a human organization that desires to reign over others—irrespective of any claims to the contrary or whether its members wish to serve the community, and regardless of whether elected officials accept perks or feather their own nests.
A political party can be a cult when defined as:
a quasi-religious organization using devious psychological techniques to gain and control adherents[1]
Political parties that fit into this mold are those that embrace communism and socialism (Nazism). Nazism is often categorized as fascism.
National Socialism, German Nationalsozialismus, also called Nazism or Naziism, totalitarian movement led by Adolf Hitler as head of the Nazi Party inGermany. In its intense nationalism, mass appeal, and dictatorial rule, National Socialism shared many elements with Italian fascism.[2]
George Reisman delivered a lecture at the Mises Institute's "The Economics of Fascism, Supporters Summit 2005." He stated in respect to public freedoms:
A socialist government totally annihilates these freedoms. It turns the press and every public forum into a vehicle of hysterical propaganda in its own behalf, and it engages in the relentless persecution of everyone who dares to deviate by so much as an inch from its official party line.[3]
Some people might confuse a cult with religion and a political cult with being religious whenever quasi-religious elements are utilized for the indoctrination and control of the populace.
Depending on how a person defines particular nomenclature, one can be easily deceived if not actively seeking the truth. Truth is a matter of definition and understanding what a person actually means when making a claim.
Unfortunately, most people make assumptions, and because of this, they are often deceived. The logical reasoning process might seem correct, but if the original premise is not clearly defined, the outcome will be flawed. Hence, political science uses nomenclature that is clearly defined but often misunderstood by those who are not educated in the discipline.
For example, if we say, "Hitler was a Nazi; Hitler was a totalitarian; therefore, all Nazis are totalitarians; Mao was a totalitarian; therefore, all totalitarians are Nazis; therefore, Mao was a Nazi," we would be incorrect. Yet the distinctions that defined the two systems of government are very much alike. Both political parties that ruled were effectively “quasi-religious organizations using devious psychological techniques to gain and control adherents.”

THE SUPERIORITY OF JESUS CHRIST IS INDISPUTABLE. No One Else Has Been Wrongly Crucified And Then Risen From The Grave. However, on a subjective note one may ask did He consider Himself superior to other human beings as a man or was His egocentricity nonexistent?

Happy Riches
From what we can read in the Bible, it appears that the Son of God emptied Himself of His pre-existent glory to become a human, taking the form of a man so that He could identify with us, His pitiful creatures. This was done so that we might be ransomed from the threat of eternal judgment for the evil we commit when violating the Ten Commandments.
  • Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant,[a] being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even death on a cross. (Philippians 2:5-8)
Humanly speaking, we understand what it means to transgress the law and face a judge. When pronounced guilty, we are then sentenced to serve time for our crime of having thumbed our noses at the law.
  • Make friends quickly with your accuser, while you are going with him to court, lest your accuser hand you over to the judge, and the judge to the guard, and you be put in prison; truly, I say to you, you will never get out till you have paid the last penny. (Matthew 5:25-26)
  • I have much to say about you and much to judge; but he who sent me is true, and I declare to the world what I have heard from him. (John 8:26)
  • He who rejects me and does not receive my sayings has a judge; the word that I have spoken will be his judge on the last day. (John 12:48)
Unlike human law, the law of God is not about politicians existing to make life more difficult with regulations and laws that fill pages of books. Instead, it concerns violations of ten commandments that pertain to relationships.
The violation of the Ten Commandments complicates our lives; however, if we do not violate them, life becomes easier. Our relationships with our Creator and others remain fluid and intact, free from accusations of impropriety or suspicion of wrongdoing by others, unless they are corrupt themselves. Of course, not being a mere finite mortal like we are, our omniscient, omnipresent Heavenly Father knows even the thoughts and intentions of our hearts, so He has no need to be suspicious due to any uncertainty.
  • For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and spirit, of joints and marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12)
When the Son of God appeared on Earth, He came so that people might be saved through Him, not to judge everyone.
  • If any one hears my sayings and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. (John 12:47)
When the Son of God came to Earth, He came that the love of God might be demonstrated through His death and resurrection, by paying the price for redeeming the first man—and all that came after him (including the woman that was made from his DNA)—from the captivity of Lucifer, the first violator of the Ten Commandments, which previously did not exist.
The reason the Ten Commandments did not exist prior to the first rupture of a relationship—between the Evil One and the Lord God—was that there was no need to define that which did not exist. Definitions are only required when there is a case for separation. Since no one had been foolish enough to think they could challenge the Omniscient One and outsmart Him, there was no need to define the consequences of such a challenge.
When the Son of God came to Earth and manifested as the man Jesus of Nazareth, He kept the whole law and did not violate it even once. Therefore, when Jesus was crucified on the Cross of Calvary, He was able to impart His righteousness to all of us who are willing to accept His death as payment for our own violations of the Ten Commandments, so that we might not be eternally judged as unrighteous and condemned to prison for eternity, having been judged as guilty.
  • For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point has become guilty of all of it. (James 2:10)
While the Son of God identified with us as human beings, unlike us, He did not sin by breaking the law at any point; therefore, we must admit that He is superior to us. Besides, which one of us has the power to overcome death, as the Lord Jesus Christ did? He is available to be discovered by the genuine, honest seeker. I know this because I have the assurance of it after the Lord Jesus Christ appeared to me.
Since I have encountered the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ, I have learned that it is up to us whether we want to acknowledge that He is superior to us. Those who acknowledge the truth do so, while those who do not acknowledge the truth do not escape—because the truth reigns!

TOP TEN WORLD RELIGIONS AND THEIR SACRED TEXTS. Check out the top 10 religions in the world and discover the sacred texts that define their beliefs—from the Bible to the Qur’an, the Vedas, and more.

Happy Riches

When speaking of the top ten, as with music, these rankings are only meaningful when there is some value attached to them. For something to be in the top ten charts, whether true or not, it often becomes a marketing tool for commercial reasons. Religion, however, is a different matter.

True religion is the quest for truth. The reason religion is a quest for truth is that the primary motivation for a person to become religious is the recognition that being born only to die is a meaningless existence.

Those who do not believe that being born to die is meaningless are like ducks pondering: Is it better to find oxygen for breathing by staying underwater or above water? Or, when seeing a shooter nearby, they might wonder, Would it be quicker to get to the other side by flying or swimming? They may also question, What is the best way to avoid being a sitting duck?

Essentially, there are no top ten religions. Many false religions are constructed to lead you away from finding the truth. There is only one religion that leads you to the truth, for only the truth can set you free from ignorance. Furthermore, we are told by the only person who claimed to be the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6) that unless we are set free from the conditions that violate our right to live forever, we are like sitting ducks.

Nevertheless, whether false or not, religion has shaped civilizations, influenced laws, inspired art, and governed morality across cultures for millennia. At the heart of each major religion is a sacred text or collection of writings considered authoritative and inspired. These texts form the foundation for beliefs, rituals, ethical systems, and spiritual understanding. Here are the top ten religions in the world by estimated followers and their principal holy books or scriptures.

1. Christianity
Estimated Followers: ~2.4 billion
Sacred Text: The Holy Bible

Christianity is the largest religion in the world. Its followers, known as Christians, believe in one God and in Jesus Christ as the Son of God and Savior of humanity. The Bible is divided into two main sections: the Old Testament (shared with Judaism) and the New Testament, which includes the Gospels, the Acts of the Apostles, the Epistles, and Revelation. The Bible is viewed as divinely inspired and authoritative.

2. Islam
Estimated Followers: ~1.9 billion
Sacred Text: The Qur'an (Koran)

Muslims believe in one God (Allah) and follow the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad. The Qur'an is considered the literal word of God revealed in Arabic to Muhammad through the Angel Gabriel. It contains 114 chapters (Surahs) and serves as the ultimate authority in Islamic theology, law, and life. Supplementary texts include the Hadith (sayings and actions of Muhammad).

3. Hinduism
Estimated Followers: ~1.2 billion
Sacred Texts: The Vedas, Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita, and others

Hinduism is one of the oldest religions and features a vast collection of scriptures. The four Vedas (Rigveda, Samaveda, Yajurveda, Atharvaveda) are foundational. The Upanishads explore philosophical concepts, while the Bhagavad Gita, part of the Mahabharata epic, is one of the most widely read and revered spiritual guides in Hindu thought. Hindu scriptures are written in Sanskrit.

4. Buddhism
Estimated Followers: ~500 million
Sacred Texts: The Tripitaka (Pali Canon), Mahayana Sutras, Tibetan Book of the Dead

Buddhism, founded by Siddhartha Gautama (the Buddha), emphasizes the path to enlightenment through ethical living, meditation, and wisdom. The Tripitaka ("Three Baskets") is the earliest compilation of Buddhist scriptures. It includes the Vinaya Pitaka (monastic rules), Sutta Pitaka (discourses), and Abhidhamma Pitaka (philosophy). Different branches (Theravāda, Mahāyāna, Vajrayāna) have additional texts.

5. Sikhism
Estimated Followers: ~25-30 million
Sacred Text: Guru Granth Sahib

Sikhism emerged in the 15th century in the Punjab region of India under Guru Nanak and nine succeeding Gurus. The Guru Granth Sahib is the central religious scripture, considered the final, eternal Guru. Written in Gurmukhi script, it contains hymns and poetry by Sikh Gurus and other spiritual leaders, emphasizing devotion to one God, equality, and service.

6. Judaism
Estimated Followers: ~15 million
Sacred Texts: Tanakh (Hebrew Bible), Talmud

Judaism is the oldest monotheistic religion, foundational to both Christianity and Islam. The Tanakh consists of the Torah (Law), Nevi'im (Prophets), and Ketuvim (Writings). The Torah, or "Five Books of Moses," is the core of Jewish law and narrative. Rabbinic traditions are preserved in the Talmud, a central text of Jewish law, ethics, and customs.

7. Bahá'í Faith
Estimated Followers: ~7 million
Sacred Texts: The Kitáb-i-Aqdas, The Hidden Words, Tablets of Bahá'u'lláh

The Bahá'í Faith began in the 19th century in Persia with Bahá'u'lláh, whom followers regard as a Manifestation of God. Central writings include the Kitáb-i-Aqdas ("Most Holy Book"), which outlines laws and principles, and the Hidden Words, which conveys mystical insights. Bahá'ís believe in the unity of all religions and progressive revelation.

8. Jainism
Estimated Followers: ~4-5 million
Sacred Texts: Agamas and Tattvartha Sutra

Jainism emphasizes non-violence (ahimsa), self-discipline, and spiritual purity. The Agamas are believed to be the teachings of Mahavira, the 24th Tirthankara. The Tattvartha Sutra is a later philosophical text summarizing Jain metaphysics and ethics. Jain scriptures were transmitted orally before being written in Prakrit and other regional languages.

9. Shinto
Estimated Followers: ~4-5 million (practiced by millions more in cultural form)
Sacred Texts: Kojiki, Nihon Shoki

Shinto is the indigenous spirituality of Japan, centered on kami (spirits or gods). The Kojiki ("Records of Ancient Matters") and Nihon Shoki ("Chronicles of Japan") are the earliest sacred texts, chronicling the myths and history of Japan's divine origins. Shinto emphasizes ritual purity, ancestor veneration, and harmony with nature more than doctrine.

10. Taoism (Daoism)
Estimated Followers: ~3-4 million (many more follow aspects culturally)
Sacred Texts: Tao Te Ching, Zhuangzi

Taoism originated in China and emphasizes living in harmony with the Tao ("The Way"). The Tao Te Ching, attributed to Laozi, is a poetic, philosophical text that explores non-action, natural order, and simplicity. The Zhuangzi, a collection of stories and philosophical musings, complements and expands Taoist thought.

In Conclusion

Each of these ten religions is anchored by its sacred texts, which serve as spiritual compasses, moral frameworks, and cultural foundations. While the form, style, and origin of these texts vary greatly, their influence is universal. They guide billions in their quest for meaning, identity, and a connection to the divine, with only Christianity offering an experiential encounter with the Creator, who died and rose from the dead and baptizes in the Holy Spirit.
