THE BOOK OF REVELATION HAS OBSCURE AND HIDDEN MEANINGS THAT NEED DISCERNMENT WHEN IT COMES TO INTERPRETATION AND UNDERSTANDING WHAT THEY MEAN. Many Vainly Attempt To Interpret The Symbols And Time Frame Of This Book, Arriving At Different Views. When it comes to the seals mentioned in the book, this is no different and various contradictory interpretations exist; knowing which one is correct is a puzzle in itself.
Your claim depends who the scholars and the theologians are saying that we endure the seals. Not all pastors have the same view either. Often pastors repeat what the different scholars and theologians teach at the seminary they obtained their degrees. Not all scholars agree and not all theologians agree.
Disagreements exist over the date the book of Revelation was written. This puts scholars at variance with one another. Theologians rely upon scholars and they are at variance. Then there is the matter of hermeneutics—interpretation of Scripture.
The book of Revelation is the revelation of Jesus Christ. If anybody sees it as anything else, then they are disregarding the first statement that has been made. If anybody interprets this book without understanding why this book of prophecy is the revelation of Jesus Christ, then they are speaking not from the Spirit of God but from their own fantasy.
Those are strong words, but the truth is solid. The book of Revelation of Jesus Christ is also a prophecy. Now prophecies are not about past events, yet many people have a habit of quoting the book of Revelation to refer to past events. This automatically disqualifies them as speaking the truth. Since when has prophecy been about events in the past. I earned a doctorate; a past event—so what. Unless a person has understood the way to life is by growing in experiential truth, then the person is talking theory, just as the future is theoretical until proven.
Gamaliel taught Saul. Gamaliel was considered one of the greatest theologians the Jews ever had. Evidently, Gamaliel did not know the first truth about salvation or the Son of God. His star pupil was intent on killing those for whom the Son of God died. Doesn’t say much for Gamaliel and his theological understanding, or his intellectual prowess—yet people seem to marvel at this exalted rabbi, because he said that if God is in a thing we cannot stop it, but if he is not, the thing will fizzle out.
- The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants what must soon take place; and he made it known by sending his angel to his servant John, who bore witness to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, even to all that he saw. Blessed is he who reads aloud the words of the prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written therein; for the time is near. (Revelation 1:1-3)
Many people think that because this is about what must soon take place, the book was written before the fall of Jerusalem. The word “soon” could not mean 2000 years or more, not even 200 years; it has to mean 20 years or less. On the surface this sounds reasonable.
"Take place soon" can refer to different time frames for different individuals, depending on their frame of reference. To a geriatric adult, "soon" may mean anytime up to five years away. A thirty year old may think "soon" could be one year. A child hears "soon" and is thinking in terms of five minutes. The Son of God could view "soon" as meaning 4000 years of our time. You may think not. People say 20 years is soon in respect to the date of the Revelation being given and the destruction of Jerusalem, yet 10 years is difficult to consider as coming soon.
In Deuteronomy, just as soon as the Israelites began to possess the Promised Land, they were told they would "soon" be utterly destroyed.
- I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that ye shall soon utterly perish from off the land where unto ye go over Jordan to possess it; ye shall not prolong your days upon it, but shall utterly be destroyed. (Deuteronomy 4:26)
Is this utter destruction a reference to the Assyrian invasion? Or the Babylonian invasion? Or AD 70, when Jerusalem was finally destroyed?
Whatever the case, in the above verse, "soon" appears to reference utter destruction that will occur sometime between 900 to 1600 years in the future, depending upon when you want to say that the prophecy was finally fulfilled.
Saying that the time is “near” presents us with much the same situation as we have discussed regarding “soon”. When God speaks of time, what is short to Him, can be very long to us. Our perspective is different to the Eternal One.
While the book of Revelation is a prophecy about what is to take place after it is published, it is also the Revelation of Lord Jesus Christ. In other words, the book is a prophecy of how Lord Jesus is going to reveal Himself to the world from that date, until the day of the Great White Throne Judgment and the New Creation. Being prophecy, none of what is in Revelation could have already happened. More to the point, even it if concerned events that were happening at the time of the prophecy, these were to be ongoing events
- Come to him, to that living stone, rejected by men but in God’s sight chosen and precious; and like living stones be yourselves built into a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. (1 Peter 2:4-5)
- But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s own people, that you may declare the wonderful deeds of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. (1 Peter 2:9)
The Church Age began when the prophecy of a nation being born in one day was fulfilled on the day of Pentecost, AD 31. This is a nation made up of living stones. A race of priests now form a nation of God’s own people. Through these people the revelation of Lord Jesus Christ is to be manifest in the world. If we recognize this, then we might be on the right track to realizing the truths of the book of Revelation, which have been hidden in symbolic form.
After having spent many years reading the beliefs of scholars and theologians in respect to their teachings from the Bible, I understand why the Church, which is meant to be victorious, is like a damp hessian sack attempting to smother the light of Christ. No wonder we read the words that Jesus Christ will spew a particular group of people out of His mouth, even though he stands at these people’s doors and knocks in the hope that they might recognize Him and desire to have fellowship with Him.
Just after prophesying about the lukewarm church that Jesus is going to spew out of His mouth, the prophet John is invited to Come up hither, and I will show you what must take place after this (Revelation 4:1). Now that is an interesting play on words. John is caught up to Heaven. He sees worship being offered to God. He sees the Lamb of God with the seven seals.
The seven seals are broken and we are given symbols that need interpreting. Yet instead of Scripture interpreting Scripture, all these scholars, theologians and pastors begin using their imagination as they detail what they think might happen, drawing on the guesses of others, to support whatever they want to believe; whatever seems the most plausible to them or whatever endears them to the ears of their hearers.
When Scripture is used to interpret Scripture, there is no need to draw on the guesses of other people. Just use the Bible. But unless you understand the progressive revelation of Lord Jesus Christ throughout the Old Testament, how are you going to interpret the symbols in the New Testament. I suppose you can use your imagination. The trouble with using imagination is this does not lead you to the truth.
What a genuine answer. Especially when you talk about the church, and Him spewing them out of his mouth. This is something, we as children of God, we have to be careful of. Out of the 7 churches, only one didn't mention him having something against them, which was the church in Philadelphia. The others he was there telling them to repent, and do better. I feel like you find this a lot in the world. That it's viral to study the Bible and know what it means to you, before you allow yourself to agree with others because they are supposed to know more.

WHAT HAPPENS TO THE LITTLE CHILDREN WHO ARE NEVER BORN OR ARE STILLBORN? This Question Is Something Abortionists Do Not Give A Thought, Neither Do Those Who Are Anti-abortion And Believe The Death Of The Unborn Child Is Equivalent To Murder If Performed By A Human Being. What about the egg that is unfertilized when it dies? Is this murder to let the egg die? Is every egg a woman has meant to bring forth life? The truth is the egg cannot bring forth a living being unless it is fertilized by the sperm of the man. This act of two becoming one has much greater implications than people realize. Both the egg and the sperm come into existence, merge together to form what is biological life.
This life is in the form of a biological fetus (the unborn) within an environment that is closed off from the world of personal awareness, individual consciousness and defined identity, designated and distinguished as a living person.
Though not as much as when the unborn acquires the distinction of possessing personhood among those identified as living, people do wonder about the unborn and what happens to aborted fetuses.
Do aborted fetuses become human beings in the true existence of eternity?
Are children aborted in the womb to be found in Heaven?
The Bible talks of us being wonderfully made in the womb:
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. (Psalm 139:14)
Marvelously, two cells (a spermatozoon and an ovum) become one cell (mystery of two becoming one) called a "zygote" that when fully developed becomes a baby to the joy of every loving mother and father.
When we realize that there are so many functioning parts to a biological human being, it becomes obvious that this has not happened by chance.
As a child, we may not know how we got here. As we grow older, we learn the truth about how we are the product of two cells coming together to form each one of us, as biological beings.
When it comes to learning the truth about our true constitution, that we are a body, a soul and a spirit with unconscious, subconscious and conscious aspects that impact our current existence, we realize that we are complex beings indeed.
There are many different views about when a "zygote" becomes a human being. Many arguments exist. Is a fetus only human at the actual birth of a child, once the first breath is taken? Or at some stage from around six months to the birth?
Many people claim that as soon as a zygote has developed into a recognizable human in the womb, abortion becomes murder.
Others say that aborticide is not murder if the forming baby is killed to save the mother.
Some point out that the reality is a human being consists of a spirit, a soul and a body.
Are still born babies taken to Heaven and given a spirit?
If our Creator desired, He could create numerous Adams and Eves and give them all a spirit. Then there would be no need for the biological process of procreation.
However, our Creator decided that He would do something much different than what He had done before.
Instead of creating spirit beings, our Heavenly Father decided He would create biological beings and provide them with spirits.
We read in the Bible that God made man in His image (male and female he made them) and gave them freewill. This way the human beings could be like God and choose to love one another, so they could appreciate each other and enjoy the delights of experiencing the procreation and raising children.
The original plan had to be salvaged because of Lucifer deciding to violate his relationship with God and challenging the authority of His Creator. Thus Lucifer brought sin to bear upon the planet Earth and caused a miscarriage of justice for those who were to be born into a world governed by sin and not righteousness.
The Lord God had to create a new plan to salvage the unexpected violation and challenge to Himself. Seriously, who would have thought anybody would have been so foolish to challenge his Creator?
So what happens to babies that are stillborn, miscarried or aborted?
Miscarriages, which are effectively natural abortions, are not considered murder. These are considered unfortunate events of nature. Miscarriages, nevertheless, occur because of sin.
What happens to incompletely developed children in the womb when a miscarriage occurs?
The Creator of the Universe is capable of doing anything. God is capable of taking those children in the womb and allowing them to have a place in eternity, even though they were not born into this world.
Consider the promise God gave to Abraham:
And behold, the word of the LORD came to him, “This man shall not be your heir; your own son shall be your heir.” And he brought him outside and said, “Look toward heaven, and number the stars, if you are able to number them.” Then he said to him, “So shall your descendants be.” And he believed the LORD; and he reckoned it to him as righteousness. (Genesis 15:4-6)
Jacob was told that his descendants would be as the sand of the sea:
But thou didst say, ‘I will do you good, and make your descendants as the sand of the sea, which cannot be numbered for multitude. (Genesis 32:12)
Many people have scoffed at the idea that there are as many stars as sand grains in the sea, but now scientists are having to admit that the Bible is true. For we are told that there are trillions of stars in the Heavens, in fact even more stars than what there are grains of sand on Earth.
Simon Driver, Professor at the International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research in Western Australia spoke for scientists who had set out to answer the question of whether there are really as many stars in the Universe as there are grains of sand on Earth.
It may hurt your brain to think about it, but it seems that the answer is likely to be yes, or at least the numbers are roughly in the same ballpark.
However, if we add every baby that was conceived, but never born, not to mention the many children who have been killed, we will probably find that there are trillions of children in Heaven already.
For there is not one child guilty of sin, who has not intentionally sinned, so how much more are those children who died prematurely not guilty of sin before they had the opportunity to sin.
Once the number of people that God has predetermined to be saved has been reached, then it is all over as far as this world is concerned.
Lord Jesus Christ shall appear and those who are alive, who are ready and waiting, they will be taken out of the judgment that is to fall on this Earth.
Those who are alive and those who are raised from the dead will be given immortal bodies as they are raised to meet Lord Jesus in the clouds above.
If you think that is too incredible, just think of how a cell can become a child and how much you do not know about the function of each child's genes. God is amazing!!!

Are there more stars in the universe than grains of sand on Earth?

Are there really more stars in our universe than there are grains of sand on all the beaches on Earth?
It may hurt your brain to think about it, but it seems that the answer is likely to be yes, or at least the numbers are roughly in the same ballpark.
Astronomers actually set out to answer this question about a decade ago. It's a tricky problem to solve, but it's slightly easier if you throw in a couple of qualifiers — that we're talking about stars in the observable universe; and grains of sand on the entire planet, not just the beaches.
The scientists started by measuring the luminosity density of a section of the universe — this is a measurement of how much light is in that space.
They then used this measurement to estimate the number of stars required to create that amount of light. This was quite a mathematical challenge!
"You have to assume that you can have one type of star represent all types of stars," says astronomer Simon Driver, Professor at the International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research in Western Australia and one of the scientists who worked on the question.
"Then let's assume, on average, this is a typical mass star that gives out the typical amount of light, so if I know that a portion of the universe is generating this amount of light, I can now say how many stars that would equate to."
Now equipped with an estimate of the number of stars within a section of the universe, the next challenge was to work out the size of the universe.
Given we know that the universe is 13.8 billion years old, we can assume that we exist in a sphere 13.8 billion light years in volume. But there's a catch: the universe is potentially infinite in size.
"We know that it has a finite age — we know it started 13.8 billion years ago — but spatially, in terms of its extent, it could be infinite," Driver says. However we also know that because of its age, we exist in a bubble within that infiniteness, and that bubble is called the 'observable' universe.
After all these calculations and caveats, Driver and colleagues came up with a figure of seven followed by 22 zeros, or 70 thousand million, million, million stars in the observable universe.
That's 70,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 stars!
So what about grains of sand on Earth?
"That was almost harder to work out than the number of stars," Driver says.
Luckily, someone suggested starting with the Sahara Desert, which is home to around half of all the grains of sand on Earth.
"That made it easier; I then just had to work out how many grains of sand are in the Sahara, and I didn't have to worry about every beach on the planet," Driver recalls.
He found the total size of the Sahara, the average depth of sand across the Sahara and from that was able to calculate the approximate number of grains of sand in the Sahara.
"Once I got all that I could put all those numbers together and got a number that was remarkably close to the figure for the number of stars, but just a little bit less," he says. "It was about a factor of 10 smaller, but there's easily a factor of 10 error in both of those estimates so it could just as easily be the other way around."
That's 70,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 stars versus 7,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 grains of sand!
So even though it's an impossible question to answer definitively, it seems that the mind-bending possibility of so many stars existing in the universe is actually true.

ARE THE VAN ALLEN BELTS THE CEILING OF THE EARTH'S ATMOSPHERE THAT CREATES A CONTAINER EFFECT AROUND THE EARTH'S SURFACE SO THAT THE PLANET CAN SPIN AND WE ARE NOT AFFECTED BY THIS? We Are Told That The Earth Spins At Around 1040mph (1664km/h), Which Is Frightening Fast And We All Stay On The Planet. If we were to spin a disc very fast, whatever is not fastened to it would fly off.
Is the Earth spinning or is the Earth stationary with the
Heavens moving around it?
If you are standing on a ball that has a circumference of 24,901.46 miles at its widest point, you would have to go very high to be able to see beyond what would be the circle of your view in respect to the ball. But you would never see the other side (or back) of the ball curving inwards, as it extends away from you. At best all you would see is the circumference, which would present as a circle; the circle of the Earth.
Remember though, that which is afar off is not able to be seen by the naked eye for its range has a limit, ever for farsighted individuals. Even if we could see the circumference of the Earth, we would not be able to see the other side. The circumference would be the perimeter what we could see of the planet. Like the full moon, it would appear round.
A significant feature of planet Earth that is missing when looking at the moon is we do not a blue hue surrounding its rim.

but the cameras attached to the spinning rocket.
However, the real issue might be whether the Earth is spinning, but if not, this would mean that the Heavens are spinning around the Earth.
A plane flying at, say, 500 mph would take four hours to cover 2000 miles going in any direction due East or due West if the Earth is not spinning.
If the Earth spins at 1000 mph East to West, an airplane flying in the same direction would not be able to keep up at 500 mph, once having become airborne. After 2 hours the airplane would be 1000 miles behind.
Flying from West to East, the 2000 miles between the same two locations would take just over an hour. For in an hour the Earth would have spun 1000 miles towards the airplane, which would have flown 500 miles towards its destination. The next 500 miles would see the airplane reach its destination in 20 mins — if it doesn't slow down to land.
In the event air travel was very quick when traveling West to East but longer traveling East to West, nearly everyone would always fly in an easterly direction. This would be the case when traveling North or South by air, as in Southeast or Northeast.
What really happens when people fly 2000 miles East to West at 500 mph.?
Say the time is 12.00 midday. They will arrive at the destination around 2 hours later, even though the flight time is four hours. When they fly the opposite direction West to East, they will leave at 12.00 and arrive some 6 hours later. This informs us that if planet Earth is not spinning, at least, the Heavens are moving around the Earth, once every 24 hours.
The distance from Perth to Sydney is approximately 3280 kilometers that is 2038 miles, and the airplane trip takes about 4 hours 10 minutes. However, watches will need to be adjusted to show 6 hours 10 minutes. The overnight Perth to Sydney airplane leaves around 12.00 midnight and arrives sometime after 6.10 am.
This corresponds to what we can call International Standard Time (aka + or — Greenwich Mean Time), that is, local time, and also to the Heavens moving around the Earth.
However, if travelling West from the East by airplane at 500 mph, and the Earth were spinning at 1000 mph, we would not reach a destination traveling West, for we would be travelling backwards due to the speed of the airplane being less than that of the spin of the planet. The villages, towns, cities, countries and continents behind us would pass us below. This does not happen, which suggests that the Earth is not spinning.
When people travel from Perth to Singapore, they are in the same time zone, even though there's about 48 minutes difference between the two in terms of the Sun's movement West.
Perth has a longitude of 115o and Singapore 103o. Every 15o longitude is equivalent to an hour's movement by the Sun westward over the planet Earth.
The flight route is 2418 miles (about 3,891 km) and takes just over 5 hours. If the Earth were spinning, by the time the plane got to where Singapore was supposed to be, it would be some 5000 miles to the West. Singapore is on the equator where we are led to believe that the Earth's surface is spinning at nearly 1040 mph. Yet this is not what appears to be happening. There seems to be more evidence that the Earth is not spinning, that it is stationary and not moving at all.
According to the experts, the Earth supposedly spins at 1037.5 mph at the equator. This suggests that at the equator it covers the 24,901.461 miles once every 24 hours.
You would think that a helicopter hovering above a building in Singapore would have to allow for the speed of the Earth's spin, but it does not. This seems to indicate that the Earth is not spinning.
The argument for the helicopter not having to allow for the Earth's spin is the effect observed when traveling inside a train carriage or plane's cabin. You can throw an object up six foot perpendicular off the floor and it will land directly back in your hand. But if you did this while standing outside on a moving train or plane, the object would fall down but you would no longer be in the same position to catch it.
Newton's first law of motion apparently describes this effect. This law states:
In an inertial frame of reference, an object either remains at rest or continues to move at a constant velocity, unless acted upon by a force. — Wikipedia.
There is no force acting upon the objects in the confined spaces, so they are inert and become part of the space.
Bear in mind we are not talking about wind because this is a force that will affect flying objects or even cause objects to fly. We are talking about the space above the Earth known as its atmosphere.
The Earth's atmosphere would need a ceiling if this effect of inertia is to apply when standing on the surface of the planet, for it has to be contained within a confined space. If there is no ceiling, there is nothing to contain the contents within that which is being spun--in this case the atmosphere of the Earth.
If the Earth is spinning, as we are told, and we are not affected by the spin, Newton's first law of motion would describe the reason this is so. This being the case, the Van Allen Belts would have to be the ceiling of the Earth's atmosphere.
The Van Allen Belts are approximately 40,000ms (60,000kms) thick and begin at 600ms (960kms) above the Earth. These thick belts must envelope the Earth completely and protect it from any external projectiles, such as comets, meteors, meteorites, asteroids, etc. The Van Allen Belts would also seal the atmosphere of the Earth within its inner borders, so that none escaped and lowered the oxygen levels for animals, birds, fish and humans or the carbon dioxide levels essential for plant life.
If the Van Allen Belts enable whatever is within the spinning Earth's atmosphere to act in the same way loose objects do within a airplane's cabin or the carriage of a train, this means that it is unlikely anyone or anything has passed through them. For to create a passageway through these Van Allen Belts would probably do the same as knocking out a window of the cabin of an airplane and letting the oxygen escape. This also interferes with the effect of inertia, as the cabin is no longer a closed container. The reason seatbelts are worn in airplanes.
Much of our information comes from NASA, when it comes to what is above and surrounds the Earth. Can we trust NASA? Not really.
Nobody who works at NASA does so just for the money. Not everyone working at NASA is a volunteer either, even if there may be some individuals who like shining buckles for personal pride and satisfaction.
We are told that NASA is apportioned $8+ billion in the 2023/24 US Federal Budget. We are not to believe that $400+ billion in yearly federal government expenditure is connected with NASA. Neither are we to believe anyone telling us that the space agency receives, by far, more funding than any other government agency or department. We have to believe the government's figures forecast. Let's face it. Figures are fudged all the time. Never by the government, though; its workers always tell the truth.
