Some indications of the Divine origin of the Torah:

1. No other religion claims a national revelation, because that is something that cannot be invented.
2. Moses was no zoologist, yet he knew all the species named in Deuteronomy ch.14 and the nature of their digestion (verses 7-8).
3. No Israelite of any tribe, had the Torah been a human invention, would have made Abraham the father of Ishmael, his firstborn (Genesis ch.16). No Israelite would have written that Isaac fathered Esau (Gen. ch.25). Nor would he have admitted the stigma that the Israelites had been slaves (Exodus ch.1). No Israelite would have penned the prohibition against warring with Ammon and Moab (Deut.2:4,9,19), who became enemies; nor would he have ascribed one of our important national institutions to a foreigner (Exodus ch.18).
4. In no other religious text can one find such criticism of its own protagonists. No one is immune to having his faults exposed: Abraham (Genesis 16:5), Reuben (Genesis 35), Simeon and Levi (Gen. 34 and 49), Judah (Gen. 38), Joseph's brothers (Gen. 37), Moses (Numbers ch.20), Aaron (Exodus 32:2-4), Samson (Judges 14:1-3), Eli's sons (1 Samuel 2:12), Samuel's sons (1 Samuel 8:1-3), Saul (1 Samuel ch.15), David (2 Samuel ch.11-12), Solomon (1 Kings ch.11), and many others.
5. No human would have forbidden farming for a whole year every seven years (Leviticus ch.25).
6. No other ancient record has such a coherent and detailed account of the genealogy of nations (Genesis ch.10).

A few examples of fulfilled prophecies:

1. The Torah predicts the settling of the Holy Land (Deuteronomy ch.12), the construction of the Sanctuary (ibid), the later Destruction and complete scattering of the Jews (ibid. ch.28), and the later Return (ibid ch.30, and Isaiah 43:5-6). All these have been fulfilled. It also predicts that the Jews would never be completely wiped out (Leviticus 26:44), which is itself a historical miracle.
2. Noah's blessing of "God will enlarge Japheth" (Genesis ch.9) has been fulfilled through the empires of Persia, Greece, Rome, Russia and America.
3. God's promise to make Ishmael into a great nation (Genesis ch.17) has been fulfilled through the wide band of Arab and Muslim countries stretching from western Africa to Indonesia, well over 1.5 billion people.
4. God's warning that "you shall go lost among the nations" (Leviticus 26:38) was fulfilled through the loss, to this day, of ten of the Israelite Tribes.
5. Moses' blessing to the Levites that God would "smite the loins of those that rise against him" (Deuteronomy 33:11) was fulfilled through the miraculous victories of the Hasmonean kohanim over the Seleucids.
6. The prophecy that "Edom will be inherited by Israel" (Numbers 24:18) was fulfilled when the Hasmonean king Hyrcanus subdued the Edumeans and converted them (Josephus, Antiquities 13:9:1).
7. The prophecy that the Torah would never die out (see Gen.32:33, Deut.31:21, Esther 9:28, Isaiah 59:21) has been fulfilled, against all odds.
8. The prophecy that the recently-barren Israel would once again bloom (Isaiah 41:18-20), has been fulfilled.
9. The prophecy that Egypt would no longer rule over other nations (Ezekiel 29:15) has been fulfilled. Until the time of Ezekiel, Egypt had dominated a number of nations. But for most of the past 2500 years, Egypt has been controlled by foreign powers, including the Romans, Ottomans and Europeans. Today, Egypt is independent again. In 1948, 1967 and 1973, Egypt tried to dominate Israel but was unsuccessful each time.
10. The prophecy that enemies of the Jews would reside in Israel (Leviticus 26:32) was fulfilled from the time of Nehemiah until today.
11. The prophecy that Babylon's kingdom would be permanently overthrown (Isaiah 13:19) was fulfilled. After Cyrus conquered Babylon, it never again rose to power as an empire.
12. The prophecy that Tyre's fortresses would fail (Amos 1:9-10) was fulfilled. The Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar attacked the mainland of Tyre, and later in 333-332 BCE Alexander the Great conquered the island of Tyre. Alexander's army built a causeway from the mainland to the island so that they could use a battering ram to breach the island's fortress.
13. The prophecy that Nineveh would be permanently destroyed (Nahum 3:19) was fulfilled. The prophet said that Nineveh, which was the Assyrian Empire's capital and perhaps the most powerful city at the time, would suffer a wound that would never heal. The city of Nineveh, as well as the Assyrian Empire, never recovered from its defeat at the hands of the Babylonians.

No parchment, scroll, or inscription has ever been found that would support the Bible-critics' JEPD (different sources) hypothesis, which remains a set of postulates. And those ancient writers who mention, describe, summarize or translate the Torah (Josephus, Samaritans, Targum, Septuagint etc.), describe it in its complete form.
Archaeological finds, such as the Ugarit documents and those of Nuzu, Mari, Susa, Ebla, and Tel el-Amarna, have repeatedly caused the critics to retract specific claims. The entire social milieu portrayed in the Torah, once criticized as anachronistic, has been shown to be historically accurate, including customs of marriage, adoption, contracts, inheritance, purchases, utensils, modes of travel, people's names and titles, etc. Professor Gleason Archer states:

Many people have a distorted view of religion. Unfortunately, people with an unenlightened view think religion is nothing more than a sociological construct that is used to control people by Machiavellian individuals, who control the wealth. In stating this, I may be a little too presumptuous, as most people I have met would not have a clue of how the world actually functions.

Religion is often confused for politics, because political agendas are promoted surreptitiously in the name of religion. Politics is about people wanting to dominate other people. Politics actually begins in the home, at the family level. A version of a famous comic strip has a female boss yelling at her fellow underling male worker because she is having a bad day; the man goes home and berates his wife; the mother yells at her daughter; the daughter abuses her younger brother; the boy kicks his friendly dog; the dog barks at cat, cat looks for mouse—mouse thinks life is getting harder by the day. Politics has nothing to do with true religion at all.

Marx is famous for having said, “Religion is the opium of the people,” meaning the masses, who are predominately numbered among the poor. When you understand The Wealth Inequality Problem in The World Today (One Chart), then you understand what Marx was talking about when he meant people. For Marx “people” was a politically correct term (if you like) or a code-word for the masses who rank among the poor. The Credit Suisse Pyramid of Global Wealth Distribution tells the same story.

Those who control the wealth need lackeys, whom they have indoctrinated to create confusion, and whom they can control, so they can control the masses. Government elites, who are compromised by those who pull their strings—for they are puppets after all—have realized that when people believe in God, this creates major problems. People who actually have a strong belief in God have a hope that atheists do not possess, and this can present a major problem for those who love the god of this world, Lucifer—whose motto is “Life is temporary, enjoy your vanity.”

Lucifer prefers people to believe in humanism unless they are dutiful worshipers of himself. However, humanism means that people can be atheists, be endowed with sufficient I.Q. to believe that there is significance in having a temporary life, and being born to die is replete with eternal meaning. Comfort or status or riches makes up for the brevity of being a Texas turd-blossom.

If a person decides to become serious about religion, then the person will begin to seek the truth about why people are born to die. This is the beginning of wisdom, because the person recognizes that being born to die is evil. There is no meaning for existence in being born to die.

True religion has a person wanting to know the way to the truth that leads to eternal life.

The way to death is obvious, because wise people notice that their ancestors are no longer around; besides, graveyards and burial grounds exist, and these are not called carnival centers or designated places of amusement or entertainment centers.

The truth is we need to know why we exist, if we are to have any meaning in our life. Without the truth there is no meaning, no significance, no worth, no purposeful living—no anything really.

Life is not something that ends. Merely thinking that life is passed on through your semen alone is a misconception: men sodomizing men is not the way to breed, nor do women pass life on by themselves. Even the naturally endowed means for human life being reproduced is insufficient to justify a meaningful temporary existence as something for which to yearn. The point becomes more poignant, especially, when people like myself have the assurance of eternal life, after having earnestly sought out God to know the truth.

Atheists can believe whatever they want to believe, there is no need to fight them. We all have to answer to the Creator of the Universe. Death has everybody’s number. Grim reapers are real and really do come for those who reject the truth and the hope of eternal life. In fact, two of them turn up to take scoffers to their eternal destination, which is not paradise, but a place where each one can relive what happened on Earth without the relief of the good moments.

Unless people accept that Jesus of Nazareth died on the cross for the sin of the world, so people can be reconciled to the Heavenly Father, there is no hope. Of course, unless people believe that God raises the dead, there is no hope for them either. If Jesus did not rise from the dead, merely believing in His death is of no value.

Atheists may think that it is vain to enter into a relationship with Lord Jesus Christ, the only person of whom it is testified that He LIVES—because He rose from the dead. Since, death reigns, there is no need to fight atheists, as the only enemy they have is the Creator, whom they desire to make their enemy because hate to acknowledge HIM Who LIVES—which according to the Bible is tantamount to murder, and worthy of eternal punishment.

People always want to debunk something because they like to think that they are right, when they very well could be wrong. Let’s use honest investigation into this matter.

Truth is not a matter of beginning with a belief based upon an assumption and then attempting to defend it; nor is truth a matter of finding anomalies to debunk a claim that might be true just because you disagree with someone in order to be accepted by others. Partisanship is the reason politicians are able to waste people’s income tax money by giving themselves something to do to justify their existence.

In all sincerity, hoping to point people to a better understanding of life and the environment in which we live, it is unfortunate that individuals use faulty information in an attempt to enlighten those suffering from a darkened understanding, due to the fact that they are still captive to the god of this world.

• In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the likeness of God. (2 Corinthians 4:4)

Nobody asked to be born into captivity and be at the mercy of the god of this world and be subject to the futility of being born only to die. The injustice of having being born into captivity, we learn, is reason that Jesus Christ appeared. At the beginning of His public campaign to declare who He was, among other things, Jesus said that He came to set the captive free (Luke 4:17-19).

Anyhow, someone appears to have concocted a false narrative, as being the mission of Christ, by taking phrases from the Bible out of context and stringing them together to claim that the Earth is flat, even using pseudepigrapha (spurious writings from the book of Enoch) that are not part of the Old Testament or New Testament Canon.

The problem with this kind of theology is that this is what pseudo-scientists resort to doing rather than demonstrating that they have legitimate evidence that can be unambiguously proven in the now. If you are a true scientist you will seek the truth; just like those who subscribe to true religion—the quest for the truth—and not the man-made variety that is really a guise to shut down any inquiry that will expose fraud.

There are many documentaries on the internet that purport to demonstrate NASA utilizes a propaganda machine to manufacture falsehoods about traveling to the Moon and through the dangerous Van Allen Belts. Reactions of disbelief are assuaged by pointing out that potential whistle-blowers are controlled through the use of binding non-disclosure (secrecy) agreements and compartmentalization that ensures people only know what they need to know to do their job and no more. The reality that whistle-blowers can be kept to a minimum, because nobody wants to violate their employment contractual agreements and lose their pension, or worse, end up in jail, seems to make sense.

Consequently, when presented with a regime that appears to thrive on secrecy for national security reasons, such as NASA, an anti-NASA attitude can develop within particular individuals, and movements like the Flat Earth Conspiracy are created and propagated, effectively becoming fake news, because they resort to incorrect information to bolster their argument. Books are written, and documentaries and short videos are produced, that claim to have discovered evidence that debunks myths about the true nature of Earth.

The book 200 Proofs Earth is Not a Spinning Ball written by Eric Dubay has been turned into a video documentary to present the argument that NASA is wrong and misleading everyone.

Unfortunately, Eric Dubay has not taken into account many factors that affect what he claims to be clear evidence that the Earth is flat. Addressing each point requires a long detailed manuscript beyond the scope of this short expose.

The nine points enumerated above that are used to construct a false theory from the Bible, I could analyze and demonstrate, point by point, how the context of the verses cited is ignored and the reasons why the book of Enoch is clearly a spurious work, written during the inter-testament period by some person(s) with knowledge of the Old Testament and an active imagination. For brevity’s sake, I will resort to something that appears conclusive.

When Felix Baumgartner traveled more than 39 miles above the Earth to obtain his jump record, cameras were taken in the capsule attached to a balloon to record the time of his jump and film him the first stage. The camera also recorded what appears to be a massive ball below the capsule, as you can see in this video.

There are many factors that distort what we see on Earth, but bear in mind, if the Earth were not a spherical shape like a ball, as we go up on a mountain or are taken higher above the Earth, we may not see the same form of enlarging circle within the natural dimensions of our gaze; rather, in all likelihood, what would be within our gaze on a flat surface would be more restricted.

The video filmed in the initial stages of the Baumgartner jump certainly suggests that the land beneath is the surface of a stationary round or spherical object. This could also be a distortion due to the placement of the lens. But just before Felix jumps, the direct shot of the land appears to be give the impression observed when looking at a ball, although questions can be raised as to the true height and why the Earth is not moving below.

However this portion of the clip, which shows the ocean, the Earth’s curve and space debris and satellites is really telling a story about what we could expect of an Earth that is spinning (or is this because the craft doing the filming is moving?) and has man-made space junk circling it. Now if that shot is the real thing, then there is no need for NASA’s explanations, you can see the truth for yourself, without any questions arising as to whether composite manipulation is used in the video of Earth supposedly being filmed from space by live feed and recorded video. The NASA site informs us:

THIS WILL SHOW LIVE and PRE-RECORDED FOOTAGE - As the Space Station passes into a period of night every 45 mins video is unavailable - during this time, and other breaks in transmission, recorded footage is shown . When back in daylight the live stream of earth will recommence.

You see there is a very obvious inconsistency to this theory. Historically, even unto this day, the Sun has always risen from the East. But in the Flat Earth Model—which I am not trying to mock, just point out some facts, unless I have misunderstood something—we see the Sun having to rise from different directions for portions of its sojourn around the planet. The compass informs us that in order to complete a circuit around the Earth, the Sun would have to rise from the South, the West and North, as well as the East.

If the Sun rises from the East and sets in the West, as everybody on Earth will attest, this means that as it crosses the flat Earth, the Arctic would be a tropical paradise lush with vegetation. The Sun’s path over the edge of the Antarctica would also produce a region of vegetation that is tropical and sub-tropical that would prevent ice from forming the complete perimeter of the Earth, contrary to what we are presented with in the above flat Earth map.

Moreover, instead of only half of the Earth’s surface being in darkness, there would be a period when all the Earth’s surface would be in complete darkness, as the Sun made its 24 hour sojourn under the Earth to return to the East, so that it can rise again.

Truth is something that is obvious, but when people reject truth they begin to believe in fairies, produce theories and other illusions that like magic are always changing.

Rather than having an attitude of looking for information to debunk someone else’s viewpoint, if we are wise, we will always seek to understand a matter from our own perspective; being willing to admit that we are on a journey of discovery from the day we are born; our responsibility to ourselves is to seek the truth, rather than assume a position from which we are looking for ways to make other people look like fools, because they are opinionated and basing their reasoning upon false assumptions; instead of letting the truth reveal itself and then acknowledging what becomes self evident. Axiomatic truth does not need algebraic explanation or complicated equations, for it is self evident.

The Sun rises in the East and sets in the West, therefore the Earth has to be a globe; especially, if we can follow its course and come back to the location from where we began without having to reverse our direction.

Maybe there is some reality in the saying that there is no blindness greater than those who have sight but refuse to see the truth. The conspicuous evidence favors a globe rather than some flat disc or structure with a flat top, but you are free to make up your own mind as to what is not true or what is true.

In Judaism there are similarities to Islam in that both belief systems claim that a Creator exists and both are looking for the coming of a Messiah, when a worldwide government will be established. Moreover, the Islamic belief of taqiyya which permits Muslims to be deceptive and use falsehoods is also paralleled in the Jew’s concept of release from all vows entered into and falsehoods purposely told, as stated in the Kol Nidre prayer:

The divine punishment of Jews is mentioned in three Koranic verses: "... They are those whom Allah has cast aside and on whom His wrath has fallen and of whom He has made some as apes and swine..." From what Muhammad wrote, to suggest that Islamic theology complements Judaism, not only would Jews find this idea insulting, so would Muslims.

The New Testament implies that both Islam and present day Judaism are anti-Christ (1 John 4:2; 1 John 2:22-23) and their origins are not of God. In this way, the two belief systems may be said to complement each other, as they both oppose the gospel message delivered by the Apostles of Lord Jesus Christ.

When asking what is the best definition of God, one must wonder who would be game enough to claim the omniscience to judge. Certainly not myself.

When we define something, we need to know the limits of a thing, especially if we are to provide a definitive description that adequately captures the extent to which a thing exists; or impacts or influences its surrounds. Any person understanding this, would not have the arrogance to attempt to define that which is beyond description, because the limits are unknown.

God is the Infinite One besides whom there is no other. Therefore, God is beyond definition by a mere mortal. In fact, the best a mortal like myself could do is acknowledge some of the attributes of God that have been revealed to me, of which I have come to understand some aspects.

From my understanding of the Creator God, whom I have come to know personally, He is a loving righteous Father, who cares about me beyond anything I could measure. Since I recognize that the Universe exists within the Infinite One, even though He relates to me by revealing what might seem like a finite presence, I am also aware that there is a place from which the Universe is overseen. The Bible challenges people to state where they were when the circle (or sphere) of the great deep was drawn and the waters were separated from the waters, so that the Universe could be made.

• He has described a circle [think sphere] upon the face of the waters at the boundary between light and darkness. (Job 26:10)
• When he established the heavens, I was there, when he drew a circle [think sphere] on the face of the deep. (Proverbs 8:27)

Moreover, I have come to realize that because God is righteous, the love that He possesses demands that everybody is requited for what they do and say, with mercy being shown to the ignorant, and kindness to the stiff-necked and hardhearted, but since each has freewill, each person has the right to choose life or death. There is a plan and purpose for humanity overall and we are all responsible for our own destiny. Because God loves us, He will not override our freewill and our decisions will be upheld, especially if we refuse to be reasonable and recognize the futility of being born only to die, and that the Universe exudes evidence of having been designed from the movement of the planets within the solar system, in which we live, to the virtual cities that exist, function and interact with each other within the cells of our very bodies.

Personally, I recognize that I am inadequate, even inept, when it comes to providing a definition of the Infinite One, who alone possesses immortality and omniscience and omnipotence and is omnipresent. Eternity is in His hand.
