Joel Osteen Is A False Prophet Because He Says That There Are Other People More Capable Than Himself And He Gets Too Much Honor And Riches In This Life. Worse still Joel Osteen preaches that eternal life begins now.

The following video has been created to demonstrate that Joel Osteen is a false prophet and preaches a false gospel. The author of the video quotes Proverbs 22:4 

The reward for humility and fear of the Lord 

is riches and honor and life.

The reason the author quotes Proverbs 22:4 is to show viewers how deceived Joel Osteen is because he has riches, honor and claims to possess eternal life because He has a relationship with Lord Jesus Christ.

In this video you will see Joel Osteen saying that there are other people who are better than himself. To quote Philippians 2:3, we read:

Do nothing from factional motives [through contentiousness, strife, selfishness, or for unworthy ends] or prompted by conceit and empty arrogance. Instead, in the true spirit of humility (lowliness of mind) let each regard the others as better than and superior to himself [thinking more highly of one another than you do of yourselves].

Joel Osteen says that 
all paths lead to Jesus, He is the only way to the Father.

Oprah says that it is not possible that there is only one way to God.

What Oprah Winfrey fails to understand is that Lord Jesus Christ is the only person to have died and risen from the dead of whom it is testified He Lives.

The person(s) who compiled this video are the ones who are deceived.

Just look at the very fact they quote a verse from Proverbs that says humility and fear of  the Lord lead to possessing riches, honor and life and then they are critical of Joel Osteen showing humility and possessing riches. 

Why are these people critical? 

Why do these people have the spirit of an accuser? 

When Jesus was speaking to the Jews who claimed that they believed in Him, He actually told them that their father was the devil.


30 As he spoke these things, many believed in him. 31 Jesus therefore said to those Jews who had believed him, “If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples. 32 You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”

33 They answered him, “We are Abraham’s offspring,[f] and have never been in bondage to anyone. How do you say, ‘You will be made free’?”

34 Jesus answered them, “Most certainly I tell you, everyone who commits sin is the bondservant of sin. 35 A bondservant doesn’t live in the house forever. A son remains forever. 36 If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed. 37 I know that you are Abraham’s offspring,[g] yet you seek to kill me, because my word finds no place in you. 38 I say the things which I have seen with my Father; and you also do the things which you have seen with your father.”

The works of Abraham were done through faith (not grace) and he was justified by works of faith.

You see that faith worked with his works, and by works faith was perfected;and the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him as righteousness”; and he was called the friend of God.  You see then that by works, a man is justified, and not only by faith.  In the same way, wasn’t Rahab the prostitute also justified by works, in that she received the messengers, and sent them out another way?  For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, even so faith apart from works is dead. (James 2:22-26)


Jesus said that everybody will be known for their fruits. The Bible bears witness to the truth. Jesus said that blessed are you who are reviled and persecuted and when men speak all kinds of evil against you because of my name's sake, rejoice and be glad, for so men spoke of the prophets beforehand (Matthew 5:12).

However, not all the prophets were like Elijah. Abraham was a prophet. Moses was a prophet. King David was a prophet. We know Abraham, Moses and King David are prophets because they have been quoted in the New Testament as being prophets.

Calvinism produces many people who claim that they are Christians and believe in Jesus but like the Jews they believe they were chosen before they were born and do not need to be saved through faith. We are saved through faith in Jesus Christ (2 Timothy 3:15). This is why you will see videos like the above being produced. These people are like the Jews that believed in Jesus: only their father is the Devil, this is why they do the work of the accuser.
