Mt Sinai filmed with the artifacts that verify that the Bible has correctly recorded what happened in the days of Moses. Also Elijah went to Mt Horeb to stay in the cave of the mountain; this is recorded too. The Apostle Paul went to Arabia and spent time at Mt Sinai.

Is
the USA predominately Christian as the survey below claims?
Or are Americans merely
cultural Christians who take the name of God and the name of Lord Jesus Christ
in vain?
The evidence for Americans forsaking God and Lord Jesus Christ appears
to be obvious as they allow the sanctioning of homosexual relations as
legitimate natural unions, even though by the scientific laws of natural
selection, such relationships do not produce value for the survival of the
species. Homosexuality and lesbianism is an aberration and not a natural union
that is worthy of being elevated to the same status as the marriage union of a
male and female for the purposes of cohabiting and bearing and rearing children.
Below are two surveys conducted by Pew Research on Where Christian Churches stand on gay marriage and what the profile of the USA religious demographic supposedly looks like.
Where Christian churches, other religions stand on gay marriage
Last week’s Supreme Court ruling legalizing same-sex marriage nationwide raised questions about how the decision will affect religious groups – especially those that continue to oppose allowing gay and lesbian couples to wed. The court’s ruling makes clear that clergy and religious organizations are not obliged to perform same-sex marriages, but some groups have expressed concerns about their tax-exempt status.
At the same time, in the past two decades, several other religious groups also have moved to allow same-sex couples to marry within their traditions. This includes the Reform and Conservative Jewish movements, the Unitarian Universalist Association and the United Church of Christ.
The new definition of marriage for the Episcopal Church, a member of the Anglican Communion, drew “deep concern” from the archbishop of Canterbury, whose Church of England does not sanction same-sex marriage. And the debate within the Presbyterian Church has already led some congregations to break away and join other, more conservative Presbyterian denominations. Both denominations allow clergy to opt out of performing same-sex marriages, while the ELCA allows ministers and their congregations to determine their own policies.
The United Methodist Church does not allow same-sex blessings or marriages. But the United Methodists also have been intensely debating the issue, particularly in the past year or so, after a church court tried, defrocked and eventually reinstated the Rev. Frank Schaefer, a Methodist pastor who had performed a same-sex marriage ceremony for his gay son. Schaefer’s case hassplit the church, with some clergy flouting the rules and marrying same-sex couples and other, more conservative members threatening to leave if the church does not hold to its current rules prohibiting gay marriage.
Overall, a solid majority of white mainline Protestants (62%) now favor allowing gays and lesbians to wed, with just 33% opposed, according to a 2015 Pew Research Center survey. A similar share (63%) say there is “no conflict” between their religious beliefs and homosexuality.
Major U.S. metropolitan areas differ in their religious profiles
The religious face of America is largely a Christian one, with roughly seven-in-ten Americans belonging to that faith. But some of the nation’s biggest metropolitan areas have a very different look.
Only about half of the residents in the Seattle (52%) and San Francisco (48%) metropolitan areas identify as Christians, as well as roughly six-in-ten or fewer of those living in Boston (57%) and New York (59%).
The Pew Research Center’s 2014 Religious Landscape Study was designed to look at the religious affiliations of Americans overall as well as those in all 50 states and the 17 largest metropolitan areas in the country. While Christians make up between 65% and 75% of adults in most of those metro areas – and people with no religious affiliation generally make up roughly 20-25% of the population – some cities stand out for a variety of reasons.
Seattle, San Francisco and Boston are notable not only because they have relatively few Christians, but also for their considerable populations of religious “nones” (atheists, agnostics and those who say their religion is “nothing in particular”). A third or more of people in each of those metropolitan areas (37% in Seattle, 35% in San Francisco and 33% in Boston) are religious “nones.”
One-in-ten Seattleites are self-identified atheists (10%), while 6% are agnostics. Meanwhile, 10% of San Franciscans call themselves agnostics, compared with 5% who are atheists.
Nearly a quarter of New Yorkers are religiously unaffiliated (24%), but the city also is home to relatively high numbers of members of non-Christian faiths. Nearly one-in-ten New Yorkers (8%) are Jewish, 3% are Muslim and another 3% are Hindu. Among the 17 largest metropolitan areas, New York’s Jewish share is matched only by Miami (9%).
Roughly three-quarters of residents of three Southern cities – Dallas (78%), Atlanta (76%) and Houston (73%) – are Christians. In each case, at least three-in-ten are evangelical Protestants (including 38% in Dallas). And Atlanta, the birthplace of Martin Luther King Jr. is home to an especially large share of members of the historically black Protestant tradition (18%).
Three of the most heavily Catholic cities also are the nation’s three largest cities. About a third of residents of New York (33%), Los Angeles (32%) and Chicago (34%) are Catholic. In each of these cities, fewer than one-in-five residents are evangelical Protestants (including just 9% in New York) – compared with a quarter of U.S. adults overall who are evangelicals.
Among the nation’s biggest metro areas, Phoenix has one of the highest concentrations of Mormons (6%). But this analysis does not include smaller cities, such as Salt Lake City, that may have a larger proportion of Mormons.
When we read the Bible seeking to know the truth, you can only conclude God exists. The conclusions formed by the scientific explanations within this video, Simulation Hypothesis, verify that what the Bible says is true. God exists.
Unfortunately, most people read the Bible and interpret it according to their belief system. If you do not believe God exists, you have already have formed your views.
If you are not sure that God exists, but are looking for evidence, you have a stronger chance of discovering Him. You can now be scientific.
If nothing else matters and you want to know whether Jesus Christ rose from the dead or not, then cut your losses and burn your bridges, for you have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Like me, you will discover the joy of the Almighty and learn the secrets of Universe. Ice and the mind of God are infinite. On the other hand, the Universe is finite and exists within the Infinite One; as described in the beginning of the book of Genesis and alluded to when the Apostle Paul says, that within God we live and move and possess our being. The question is though, does He live and move and have His being within you, or are you merely a black hole just waiting to be realized when death strikes at the final bell.
The Bible states that after death comes judgment. That judgement will be one of two things:
You loved darkness rather than the light because you refused to come to Jesus Christ, the Light of Life, the WORD of LIFE, the WORD OF GOD.
You came to the light in this life because your desire was to do good and have a relationship with the Lord God, Creator of Heaven and Earth.

249 Country Codes in the ISO Standard List
Have you ever been filling out an internet form, and had to choose from a suprisingly long list of countries? You were probably looking at the international standard "country code" list, officially known as ISO 3166-1. Many companies and other organizations adopt this standard list rather than having to compile one on their own. The standard also includes convenient two-letter codes for each country, like us for the United States, de for Germany, and jp for Japan, which you might recognize from web addresses specific to those countries.
This ISO standard is based on an official list kept by the U.N....but then why on Earth are there 249 country codes? That's way more than the total number of U.N. member and observer countries! Well, the standard list does leave out some breakaway states not recognized by the U.N., but it does list dependent territories separately from their mother countries. So there are country codes not only for actual countries, but also for nearly-independent states, overseas territories, uninhabited islands, and even Antarctica! This is important because you might need an option for every place that any person is located, and dependent territories often aren't technically part of the countries they belong to.
U.N. Member Nations: 193
U.N. Observer States: 2
States With Partial Recognition: 2
Inhabited Dependent Territories: 45
Uninhabited Territories: 6
Antarctica: 1
Total: 249 different Country Codes

King David-Era Palace Found in Israel, Archaeologists Say
This aerial picture shows David's palace and the Byzantine farmhouse that was build on top of it. Credit: Sky View, courtesy of the Hebrew University and the Israel Antiquities Authority Archaeologists say they've uncovered two royal buildings from Israel's biblical past, including a palace suspected to have belonged to King David.
The findings at Khirbet Qeiyafa — a fortified hilltop city about 19 miles (30 kilometers) southwest of Jerusalem — indicate that David, who defeated Goliath in the Bible, ruled a kingdom with a great political organization, the excavators say.
"This is unequivocal evidence of a kingdom's existence, which knew to establish administrative centers at strategic points," read a statement from archaeologists Yossi Garfinkel of the Hebrew University and Saar Ganor of the Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA).
The IAA announced the finds as a seven-year long excavation at the site is wrapping up. The government agency and the Israel Nature and Parks Authority have halted the planned construction of a nearby neighborhood, hoping to make the site a national park.
Garfinkel has previously said Khirbet Qeiyafa could be the site of Shaaraim, a biblical city associated with King David in the Bible. Shaaraim means "two gates" and two gates have been found in the fortress ruins. Others researchers, meanwhile, have claimed this site might beNeta'im, another town mentioned in the book 1 Chronicles in the Old Testatment.
Prior radiocarbon analysis on burnt olive pits at the site indicated that it existed between 1020 B.C. and 980 B.C., before being violently destroyed, likely in a battle against the Philistines. Much of the palace was further wrecked 1,400 years later when a Byzantine farmhouse was built on the site.
The archaeologists found a 100-foot-long (30-meter-long) wall that would have enclosed the palace, and inside the complex they discovered fragments of ceramic and alabaster vessels, some of them imported from Egypt. The researchers say the building was strategically located to overlook the city and the Valley of Elah.
"From here one has an excellent vantage looking out into the distance, from as far as the Mediterranean Sea in the west, to the Hebron Mountains and Jerusalem in the east," the archaeologists said. "This is an ideal location from which to send messages by means of fire signals."
The excavators also found a pillared building measuring about 50 feet by 20 feet (15 m by 6 m) that was likely used as an administrative storeroom.
"It was in this building the kingdom stored taxes it received in the form of agricultural produce collected from the residents of the different villages in the Judean Shephelah," or Judean foothills, the archaeologists said. "Hundreds of large store jars were found at the site whose handles were stamped with an official seal as was customary in the Kingdom of Judahfor centuries. "
